Pssst, insider tip: these camps are in high demand

The first rays of sunshine are slowly inviting us to dream of spring and summer. We have therefore taken a look back and put together a selection of our absolute hinterland favorites from last year. Whether by the water, visiting a winegrower, on a farm or in the middle of apple trees in a delicious meadow: These camps have that little something extra, and as community favorites, are sure to be booked up again at record speed.

Curtains open, sun shining in and the view from the camper door wanders over the glistening surface of the water. The only thing you can hear around you are birds that have woken up with the sun. Coffee on the camping stove, a short walk along the lake of your pitch.

That's the way to live. At least that's how our Hinterland community sees it.

A sip of cold white wine in a camping chair at the end of a sunny day. Wine that comes from the vines between which you are spending the night. A few hours earlier, the hostess explained something about the harvest and let you choose which wine would be the best way to round off the evening.

Wine simply tastes good, especially when the vines are close enough to touch. 

Idyllic green pastures where you camp, but not much more. Occasionally the sheep come to visit, enjoying nature as much as you do. In the morning, you make a little detour to the farm store for fresh tomatoes and eggs for breakfast.

This is slow living on the farm.

The air smells sweetly of juicy apples, pears and cherries. They land straight from the tree in your morning muesli and give you the energy you need for your trip to the Baltic Sea. Some of your favorite spots are located in meadows that invite you to feast.
