Our apple orchard is home to 185 very old, naturally growing trees that provide shade and create an idyllic atmosphere. This spot is just 500 meters from Lake Ruppin (22 km long); you’re welcome to use our own swimming dock, complete with a bench to relax on. Otherwise, there are countless swimming spots along the lake, bike tours, hiking, and all kinds of water sports… it has a very village-like feel. A good hour’s drive from Berlin and on the way to the Baltic Sea, it’s the perfect stopover.
We provide you with drinking water, an outdoor sink, a refreshing solar shower, and a composting toilet (for both big and small needs)… hidden among the firs and trees. There’s so much space here that you can’t even hear your neighbors from your hammock. And if you do happen to want some company, you can meet up while picking apples together.
During the peak summer months, I only manage to stop by occasionally. But you can of course reach me at short notice on my cell phone—just give me a quick call.

Please remember to bring underride wedges, the ground on the plantation is sometimes very uneven. If it has rained a lot for a few days, then check your location before whether it is suitable for your vehicle. We also have firmer choices in case of doubt 😉👍🏻

This was our third stay, and it was wonderful once again ☀️
Thank you so much, Sabine, for saving a spot for us. With the open seating, we were spoiled for choice. Since it’s a large space, you don’t get in each other’s way with the other guests. We were very satisfied with the composting toilet and the dishwashing area. We didn’t use the outdoor shower—but it looked like a nice spot. 😇 With our SUP already inflated, we walked the 5 minutes down to the water and were able to paddle out onto Lake Ruppin from the dock. That was really great. We also really enjoyed your visit. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to get to know the apple orchard. A small suggestion: perhaps an information board listing nearby attractions, hiking, biking, and swimming spots would be of interest to guests.

We had a wonderful stay at Sabine’s orchard and were even able to use the private dock on the lake for swimming. The rather last-minute booking also worked out perfectly. That was great! I imagine it’s especially beautiful here on a sunny day in late summer with ripe apples. I’m deducting one star because the portable toilet was in poor condition.

A beautiful, peaceful spot with plenty of space among the apple trees. There was also a solar-powered shower, nicely sheltered, which was wonderfully lukewarm at the end of a sunny day. The dry toilet was clean and didn’t smell like a toilet at all. There’s a raised garden bed with fresh lettuce and various herbs; we were allowed to pick some, and we were more than happy to water the plants in return. Thank you so, so much for that! The road where the nature campsite is located was quiet at night, with virtually no traffic. We’ll definitely be back!
