Beautiful and quiet place for overnight stay in the middle of a meadow orchard.
Picking apples, pears and cherries in the meadow orchard for immediate consumption is expressly permitted.
Ideal starting point for extensive hikes and bike tours with excursion destinations in the immediate vicinity, such as the Sagenpfad & Goldborn in Werchow, observation tower "Calauer Schweiz", nature park "Niederlausitzer Landrücken", "Fürst-Pückler-Park" in Fürstlich Drehna, Gutskapelle Reuden or the Sielmann Nature Adventure Center Wanninchen.
A children's playground is located in the immediate vicinity (distance 100m) to the meadow.
Calau, the "core-healthy small town with wit", is located about 2 km from the overnight campsite. In the town there are several supermarkets, two gas stations, savings bank and Spreewaldbank, as well as a medical center and tourist information. In the town center are the Witzerundweg, the town hall, many small stores, several ice cream stores and restaurants.
The Spreewald with its many rivers as an excursion destination for canoeing, paddling or cycling is easily reached in about 10 km.

Wow, what a great place. It was very peaceful, with gorgeous sunsets and just a short walk to our Spreewald activities. And we got to enjoy some of the delicious plums from the orchard meadow.
A really lovely campsite right next to the field; we were greeted with a sweet note. A great starting point for exploring the Spreewald and the surrounding area—we’d love to come back!
We’ve stayed at Thomas’s meadow with our RV several times now, and we always love coming back. The warm welcome, the wonderful peace and quiet, and the relaxed atmosphere make every stay special. We were also very happy about the delicious plums we were allowed to help ourselves to. Thank you so much for your hospitality—we’ll definitely be back!
