A highlight of your hiking tour can be the Schrecksee at Hinterstein, which is one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in the holiday region. The Chrislessee near Oberstdorf has an almost mystical charm, but be prepared for its water temperature, which remains four to six degrees Celsius year-round.
