"Once in a lifetime" wellness camp at Lake Werbellinsee

Here is the recap of our exclusive camping adventure with a front row seat on the water and a unique sauna raft.
It was an extraordinary winter weekend at Lake Werbellin for our "Once in a lifetime" camping adventure: our event with two winners not only promised a cozy, exclusive pitch right on the lakeshore, but also a unique highlight: a floating sauna raft!
Most wanted: An exclusive spot on the lakeshore
Our location for the event: a unique spot right on the shore of the picturesque Werbellinsee, the heart of the Brandenburg region. A place where campers are not normally allowed, with a wide view of the water and into the distance. The perfect place for winter camping in the Grand California. In keeping with the Advent weekend, Christmas decorations, mulled wine and a campfire transformed the site into a "Cozy Christmas Camp".
Winter wellness meets camping adventure
The winners, Alina and Talisa, not only experienced the coziness of winter camping here, but also an extraordinary highlight: a floating sauna raft, moored to the jetty in front of their camp. What we particularly love: The sauna barrel is heated with a wood-burning stove, sustainably and climate-neutrally with regional beech wood from the Schorfheide, which has been stored for 2 years. On the sauna raft, the winners not only enjoyed pure relaxation in hot temperatures and a wonderful view of the water, but also had the opportunity to comfortably sail the sauna across the wintry lake and take a brave plunge into the ice-cold water .

The Werbellinsee event was further proof that the hinterland is not just a place, but an adventure that you create together. And we are always happy when we get to meet people from our community - like at our events on Rügen at the lighthouse, in the middle of a blooming lavender field, on an organic farm with a farm-to-table dinner or on a floating pontoon in the Elbe.
