"Once in a Lifetime" experience: Sweet dreams amidst lavender fields

In the sunshine, the copper-colored VW Caddy California flashes out between a sea of purple blossoms and a pleasant lavender scent is in the air - camping table and chairs stand on lush green grass, the bumblebees hum and buzz. Absolute peace and pure nature. Provence feeling in the middle of Germany. This dreamlike camping site with relaxation guarantee became reality last weekend for two winners! The location at the large field of “Taoasis Duftmanufaktur” in Lage, Germany, could not have been more unique, since the lavender is here only for about two weeks in full bloom and the place is not accessible to the public.

"It was simply magical," is how winner Katharina sums up the weekend. The Bonn native actually likes to travel with her car and roof tent, but for this unique, flowery experience she was delighted to try out the VW Caddy California. After arriving, she and her sister Theresia first had to explore the parking space and enjoy a freshly brewed coffee in the Caddy's rear kitchen in the afternoon sun.

After that, a very special workshop awaited the two: In the relaxation room of Taoasis were invited to a meditation taster session. "Taster session" was taken here of course literally and to the yoga and meditation helped essential oils of the fragrance manufactory to let go and come down. To the sunset an extensive Dinner was already waiting for the two on the camping table and also a small campfire could not be missing to the genuine outdoor adventure. Then the Caddy became the comfortable "bed in the lavender field" with a marvelous view of the stars through the panorama glass roof. Katharina's conclusion the next morning after breakfast: "It was so unique! We are still quite euphoric and thank the whole team for this insanely great idea, this experience and all the effort."
