Welcome to the Mühlenhof!

My former mill is situated in an idyllic, secluded location in the renowned resort town of Drolshagen. Here, I’d like to offer you a spot on an idyllic meadow with a view of the beautiful Brachtpetal valley and a cabin.

Cars with roof tents:

Only suitable for vehicles with four-wheel drive and sufficient ground clearance. Currently, the meadow is only accessible in relatively dry weather, as we have not yet installed grass pavers.

Cars and tents:

Parking available along the path.

Cabin:

A cozy cabin (shared space) with furnishings, a wood-burning stove, and a terrace is also available for shared use. A small electric grill and a tabletop grill are provided. The cabin also contains a small first-aid kit.

Sink:

Covered sink area; a sink basin is provided. No hot water.

In the charming outdoor bathroom, you can also shower in a red wine barrel. 1.50 euros per person per shower.

Notes:

Toilet: Guests use the Trobolo composting toilet in the outdoor bathroom. The solid waste container must be emptied by the user after each use and refilled with inlays and wood chips as needed.

Shower: The camping shower in the red wine barrel with a flow heater is located in the outdoor bathroom. The gas water heater can be used from April to October.

Quiet hours begin at 11:00 PM.

No parties or loud music.

Minimum age for guests: 7 years.

The grounds are not childproof.

Camping: April through October

Drolshagen and the surrounding area:

The Drolshagen region is part of the Sauerland-Rothaargebirge Nature Park, a quiet and forested low-mountain landscape. Numerous trails lead along babbling streams through lovely meadows up to the beautiful heights. A breathtaking view over wide valleys and mountains. Fresh air, birdsong in summer, or the silence of the winter landscape captivate the senses and make the Drolshagen region unforgettable.

The Drolshagen region has much to offer hikers and cyclists. Approximately 140 km of well-signposted and marked hiking trails open up a diverse area.

Lake Bigge, with its many activities, is located about 4.5 km from us.

Other beautiful destinations:

Eckenhagen Log Cabin

Attahöhle Cave in Attendorn

Backhaus-Cafe Drolshagen snack bar.

Other information:

You can also book a vacation rental with us.

Animals on site. The meadow below the mill farm is used for agricultural purposes.

At the Eichener Mühle bakery, you can get baked goods from an artisan baker—a treat for all the senses! About 1.4 km away, easily accessible via the bike path. The bakery van arrives on Saturdays around 10:15 a.m.

Camping on our property is at your own risk.

I look forward to seeing you!
