  • It was really lovely—the view of the field, whether from the beach chair or our own terrace, is perfect for relaxing. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

  • Simply perfect!

  • Very cozy and very well-equipped, especially if you're just camping there.

  • Steffi has created a wonderful place here. Everything was done with so much love, down to the smallest detail🌻—whether it was the beautiful lounge area by the cabin, the cabin itself, which had everything we needed, the rustic bathroom with the shower in the wooden tub (my favorite part😀),the composting toilet, and the rustic sink. The outdoor lighting in the evening was also enchanting. 😍 Steffi was always available to answer any questions and helped with everything. It was really nice that we could rent bikes to ride to Lake Bigge. Of course, there are plenty of other great bike paths too. 🚲 A truly beautiful route. I can’t recommend this place highly enough—everything was top-notch. I’d love to come back. 🌞🌻

  • We spent two wonderful nights in the tent on Steffi's lawn. We felt incredibly at home. The place is lovingly decorated, and we had everything we needed. So we had a great weekend in the Sauerland.

  • It was truly wonderful 🤩 Everything your heart could desire! Highlight: A rustic bathroom and a cozy cabin with a cooler (beer/wine, etc.), a coffee maker, board games, a guestbook, and all sorts of little extras in case you forgot to pack something 👍🏻 It was a real shame that we weren’t allowed to go out onto the big meadow. That would have been absolute paradise for our dog 😉

  • My son and I had two wonderful days staying with Steffi. The small shared cabin and the bathroom were decorated with such attention to detail—very rustic. We also got some tips for day trips and were able to rent bicycles. Steffi was always there for us :-)

  • We spent two wonderful days here at Biggesee. Steffi has put her heart and soul into creating a small, unique camper’s paradise here, and she was incredibly friendly and helpful. Anyone who enjoys camping close to nature and without the hassle will feel right at home here. Instead of a traditional, comfortable campground, you’ll find a lovingly designed spot with creative touches like an outdoor shower, a composting toilet, a cozy communal terrace, and an absolutely adorable little farm shop where you can find everything from coffee to toothbrushes—anything you might have forgotten—at totally fair prices. We also especially loved the surroundings, with the great bike paths and scenic trails around Lake Bigge.

    +1

  • Great accommodations—everything was clearly marked, and the site was neat and well-maintained! Steffi gave us a warm welcome and showed us around! It was pretty cold and windy at night (mid-May), and the campsite is very open and close to a stream. Even with thick sleeping bags, a down comforter, and hot water bottles, we were cold. So be sure to check the weather forecast if you plan to camp. Or use the great cabin with a fireplace ;)

  • The owners were very nice and friendly. There was a bit of back-and-forth about the sites, but they were very accommodating. The nights were a bit cold. But it's a nice place.

  • Such a warm welcome, and a wonderful campsite that was clearly set up with a lot of care! As a bonus, they offered to lend us a bike. We’ll definitely be back when the weather’s a bit warmer so we can enjoy the lovely terrace more!

  • A very beautiful place, everything decorated with love and beautifully designed. We were given a very warm welcome and shown everything. Thank you Steffi, and see you next time.

  • We really, really liked the place. So much attention to detail has been paid here. Especially the shower and the "mountain pine" put a smile on our faces! Thank you for the lovely stay and the warm welcome, we'll be back!

  • What an experience ☺️ so many cute little details. There's lots to discover and showering in a wine barrel...wonderfully amusing. Then a baker's van arrives on the dot with delicious bread rolls (but only on Saturdays). The pitches are just as lovely as the hostess. Dear Stefanie we would love to come back 🥰 Just one thing... Why 3 euros per night for the dog? Half would be okay too, wouldn't it?

  • The pitch and amenities are good. Price for electricity fair, but too high for dogs. Communication can still be worked on. OK for one night.

  • Great stay with Steffi - a super lovely hostess who has really thought of everything. 🌿 A hut with a terrace and cozy garden furniture invites you to linger while the stream babbles non-stop in the background. Everything is clean, well thought out and the toilet is very easy to use. The Biggesee is within easy reach - we will definitely be back at another time of year.

  • What a lovingly furnished place, in the middle of nature. Just the right place to escape the city. It's impressive what Steffi has to offer. From beautiful decorations to the hotplate, everything is there and can be used. Thank you for a wonderful time ☺️

  • It was wonderful and Steffi is very accommodating. Thank you for the great camping experience.

  • We felt very welcome and very comfortable there. We would love to come back again. The new terrace right on the pitch and other places to stay are plentiful and lovingly prepared. Lots of nice little details.

  • The place was beautiful! You can clearly hear the motorcycles driving past from the road, but luckily they're not on the road at night. The whole ambience is really lovingly decorated. You have a wonderful view of the fields and woods from the tent meadow. We would love to come back! Thank you, Stefanie, for this beautiful place!

  • Stefanie was very nice. The mill is lovingly decorated. We would love to come back :)

  • We had a great time at the campsite! Steffi gave us a warm welcome and showed us everything on site. She also gave us tips for the surrounding area and cycling routes. The pitch is in a nice, quiet location. You have a direct view of the countryside and can hear a small stream babbling. The outdoor pool is equipped with everything you need and is very easy to use. And if you forget something, you can find everything you need in the communal hut at fair prices! In the evening and at night, the path to the pool is beautifully illuminated with strings of solar lights, making it easy to find everything. We would love to come back!

  • We had a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing stay. The view is great, the stream babbles and the horses graze in the background. Great place to slow down and visit the Biggesee. We would love to come back!
