The pitch measures approximately 6.45 m x 3.50 m. The surface is eco-friendly paving stones, with an adjacent living area, and is located next to the house with a view of the meadow and the beautiful Bracht Valley. Private terrace and mini-kitchen in the farmhouse cupboard next to the campsite.

Cabin and Infrared Sauna:

A cozy cabin (common area) with dishes, a wood-burning stove, and a terrace is also available for shared use. A small electric grill, tabletop grill, and fire pit are provided. The fire pit may only be used at the cabin, except during dry weather. The cabin also contains a small first-aid kit.

In the charming outdoor bathroom with a composting toilet, you can also shower in a red wine barrel.

Sauna

Our infrared sauna with a cellar-like ambiance provides soothing warmth and helps relieve tension, muscle aches, and joint pain that you may have experienced while hiking or biking. It also promotes blood circulation and metabolism.

The grounds are not child-proof.

Drolshagen and the surrounding area:

The Drolshagen region is part of the Sauerland-Rothaargebirge Nature Park, a quiet and forested low mountain range landscape. Numerous trails lead along babbling streams through lovely meadows up to the beautiful heights. A breathtaking view over vast valleys and mountains. Fresh air, birdsong in summer, or the silence of the winter landscape captivate the senses and make the Drolshagen region unforgettable.

The Drolshagen region has much to offer hikers and cyclists. Approximately 140 km of well-signposted and marked hiking trails open up a diverse area.

Lake Bigge, with its numerous activities, is located about 4.5 km from us. A bike path leads directly there from our village, partly along old railroad tracks.

To reach the hiking trails, you’ll need to walk back to the village along the country road for about 500 m.

Other beautiful destinations:

Eckenhagen Log Cabin, Attahöhle Cave in Attendorn, Backhaus-Cafe snack bar in Drolshagen.

Other information:

A vacation apartment can also be booked with us. Pets welcome. The meadow below the Mühlenhof is used for farming.

At the Eichener Mühle bakery, you can get baked goods from an artisan baker—a treat for all the senses! About 1.4 km away, easily accessible via the bike path. The bakery van arrives on Saturdays around 10:15 a.m.

Camping on our property is at your own risk.

I look forward to seeing you!

Such a warm welcome, and a wonderful campsite that was clearly set up with a lot of care! As a bonus, they offered to lend us a bike. We’ll definitely be back when the weather’s a bit warmer so we can enjoy the lovely terrace more!

What an experience ☺️ so many cute little details. There's lots to discover and showering in a wine barrel...wonderfully amusing. Then a baker's van arrives on the dot with delicious bread rolls (but only on Saturdays). The pitches are just as lovely as the hostess. Dear Stefanie we would love to come back 🥰 Just one thing... Why 3 euros per night for the dog? Half would be okay too, wouldn't it?

Great stay with Steffi - a super lovely hostess who has really thought of everything. 🌿 A hut with a terrace and cozy garden furniture invites you to linger while the stream babbles non-stop in the background. Everything is clean, well thought out and the toilet is very easy to use. The Biggesee is within easy reach - we will definitely be back at another time of year.
