We had a great time with Volker and his family. We had the whole meadow to ourselves and were able to set up our tent wherever we liked best. There was an outdoor shower with hot water, a toilet, and places to wash dishes, etc. We were allowed to use a compartment in the fridge, which was worth its weight in gold given the temperatures. There was a severe thunderstorm at night, which was pretty stressful for us. The next morning, they immediately offered to let us move into a music rehearsal room in case there was another thunderstorm. We thought that was really nice of them :) We had a wonderful weekend in nature (with plenty of privacy, which is very important to us.)
A friendly and helpful host. You can even buy snacks and cold drinks. We'd love to come back :)
