Everything was great, except that you have to shower outside, which we didn't do when it was 10 degrees. Otherwise, everything was great—dogs can run around and you can enjoy the peace and quiet....
I spent two nights at Volker’s place—it was incredibly peaceful and idyllic. The bathroom is clean, and there’s a small entryway with a fridge and a tea/coffee station, where you can also wash dishes. Absolutely perfect—and thanks also for the kind invitation to the Easter bonfire on the first evening; it really made me feel welcome right away! :)
Volker is a friendly, uncomplicated and very helpful host. The pitches are quietly located on the outskirts of the village and everything you need is there. Perfect for a stopover or a few days' rest.

Very nice host; electricity and toilet easily accessible, responds to our individual wishes, e.g. evening sun or morning sun, we will certainly come back because we found the peace and quiet there with a short walk to the North Sea

It was a very nice time with Volker on the river. Volker gave us a friendly welcome, was always in a good mood and very helpful. The location on the river was great, quiet, our spot was nice and flat and we had two boats at our disposal. The river has little current and is just under a meter deep, so it is relatively safe to paddle even with children. Price-performance ratio with Volker absolutely unbeatable!

Unfortunately, we were unable to arrive due to unexpected events and were therefore unable to keep our booking. However, the contact with Volker was quick, uncomplicated and very friendly, so we will definitely come back to this pitch at the next opportunity.

Volker's reception was uncomplicated and warm. We immediately felt welcome, enjoyed the peace and quiet and the (warm) outdoor shower. There was another tent on the meadow and guests in two caravans, but we hardly noticed anything. In the end, we spontaneously stayed twice as long instead of the two nights we had originally booked, which was no problem at all.
We used the large meadow behind the house with our trailer. The toilet, shower and fridge were accessible to us. We were welcomed by a very warm host family. We had a wonderful seven days and will definitely be back ❤️

Camping by a stream or, rather, a sluice? Volker, typically Nordic I would say. All in all, a wonderful night on the freshly mown meadow, all to ourselves. That certainly deserves 5 points. Thank you very much.
It was great. Simply pure nature and absolute peace. Volker was on hand to answer any questions and gave tips on things to do. Overall, the region is rather dog-unfriendly, but here you can really bring your 4-legged friends along. Unfortunately, we're heading home right now. But next time we come to East Frisia, we'll definitely come here.

My dog and I had a great time with Volker and his family. The site is large and offers enough space for all campers. Dogs are very welcome and are allowed to run around on the large pitch (which you can choose)! Electricity, water WC and shower (outside but hot water) are available. There is also a mini kiosk with eggs and some snacks. The nearby lake and the surrounding area are great. Those who love peace and nature are in good hands here. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. All in all, just as you would wish for as a hinterland camper! We would love to come back. Many thanks, Manuela
We felt completely at home in this sunny and very quiet place. The hosts are very friendly and generous. They immediately pulled a power cable onto the meadow for us. We were allowed to refill our fresh water and use the toilet in the house. Thank you very much!

Thank you Volker! We received a friendly welcome. Everything went very smoothly. We were able to choose a pitch on a large meadow behind the former farm. It was very quiet there. Volker supplied us with electricity and there is a toilet that we were allowed to use. The village is tranquil and there is a lake nearby, which we walked around in the evening. A great place for little money not far from the Sielorte. Thanks again and see you next time.

Super nice and likeable guy. Everything kept very simple. Shower is an outside shower but still new and with warm water :). It was harvest festival and he asked directly if I would like to join him. Super nice and super relaxed people (also there in the village).
We felt we were in good hands and enjoyed the quiet place. Volker greeted us warmly and explained everything well. He was very helpful and interesting to talk to.
I was very well briefed on the local conditions as soon as I arrived. I would recommend the pitch recommend it to others.

We have just spent our first week here in September and are delighted. We had absolute peace and quiet and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Shopping by bike about 10 min. To the North Sea (e.g. Bensersiel/Neuharlingersiel) by bike about 20 min. We will definitely be back.
We received a very warm welcome from Lisa and her husband. We were able to stand on the meadow however we wanted. WC, hot outdoor shower, water and electricity included. Bensersiel is 20 minutes away by bike. Thank you for everything.

Unfortunately only mediocre for me. I arrived safely and was greeted warmly by a gentleman (forgot his name). However, I have no idea who Lisa is. The work in the yard didn't bother me either. But the loud drumming with no real rhythm in the evening until 10 pm was terrible. In addition, the countless wind turbines nearby are unfortunately very audible at night. And you are only under trees at night; otherwise you are exposed to the sun all day without any shade. The small kiosk is great and the nearby quarry pond is also better than the North Sea.

Simply great! Very nice and uncomplicated communication with the hosts and a great pitch where you really have your peace and quiet. Our four dogs were also welcome and could run freely on the large meadow. We were even allowed to use the hosts' canoe. The village and surrounding area are also great for walks, there is also an idyllic bathing area - and you can be at the sea in just a few minutes by car. :) Thank you very much for your hospitality!

Great hosts, great pitches. We were able to choose our pitch and Lisa's jam is highly recommended. Anyone who loves nature and peace and quiet is in the best of hands. For us, the fantastic opportunity to go for a walk with our dog was paramount. We will definitely be back. Thank you for your warmth and your trust.
We had a wonderful time with Lisa and her family on the farm. Lisa was very accommodating and even offered us an alternative place to sleep as our tents were wet. In general, however, the farm has plenty of space to pitch your tent and the alert chickens were our particular highlight :)

Very nice quiet place at ground level. Pure nature. Hosts very nice and friendly. Electricity and toilet available as well as an outdoor shower. We cycled to the North Sea, about 12km in each direction to the towns. We will be back.

It was very nice here. We were free to choose our pitch and opted for a meadow by the water, as you can see in the photos. Here you are alone and in the middle of nature. It's not far to the sea either. The hosts are very friendly and happy to help. All in all, I can highly recommend it and would happily come back.
