  If you're not a fan of large campgrounds, this is the perfect spot for you. It's secluded by the stream. Nice and quiet. Less than a 30-minute bike ride to the North Sea. Volker has a restroom and outdoor shower available if needed. We were given a warm welcome. Great stay. We'd love to come back.

  The spot at the back of the meadow right on the banks of the Grove is definitely worth recommending. You’re all alone in the middle of nature, but you can use the very clean restroom in Volker’s yard. It’s a great starting point for bike rides to the coast.

  A great spot surrounded by nature, with wide-open fields all around perfect for walking. Far away from mass tourism, yet just a short drive from the North Sea. Public transportation makes it easy to get around in any direction. There’s a clean restroom, a coffee station, a microwave, a sink, and a few snacks and drinks available for a small fee. The host, Volker, is simply wonderful and explained everything clearly to us. We’ll definitely stop by again!

  I spent two nights at Volker’s place—it was incredibly peaceful and idyllic. The bathroom is clean, and there’s a small entryway with a fridge and a tea/coffee station, where you can also wash dishes. Absolutely perfect—and thanks also for the kind invitation to the Easter bonfire on the first evening; it really made me feel welcome right away! :)
