My stay was really great. The place is beautiful, my dog got to run around the grounds, it’s not far from the ocean, and the hosts are very nice and helpful—what more could you ask for?! If I’m ever passing through again, I’ll definitely camp here again. Thank you so much for everything!
The hosts were super friendly and easy to deal with. We were offered several spots to set up our tent. Toilets, a place to wash dishes, a freezer, and a refrigerator are available, as well as a coffee maker, a kettle, and a mini-kiosk (chips, peanuts, various types of beer). Simple but adequate facilities. Wonderfully quiet location on the outskirts of town, just a few minutes from Esens and the North Sea (insider tip: Ostbense for a quick swim, free parking, and beach access). The only drawback is the outdoor shower, which does provide hot water but doesn’t offer enough privacy for women. Overall, a wonderful stay—thank you so very much!!
Everything was great, except that you have to shower outside, which we didn't do when it was 10 degrees. Otherwise, everything was great—dogs can run around and you can enjoy the peace and quiet....
