I agree with the previous reviews. A great place to unwind! The only thing that bothered us ( ;-)) ) was the nonstop birdsong. It’s wonderful—our garden is already full of birdsong, but yours deserves a 5-star rating. This is 1960s-style camping—just plain camping. We love it.

Hendrik is a really lovely host who took great care of us. The campsite was beautiful and cozy. Pure nature ❤️ We’d love to come back sometime. Thank you so much for everything.

Everything went very well with Hendrik & his tree-lined site, very close to the Hunte - ideal for paddling & hiking. Due to the secluded location it is very quiet & natural, only during the day you can hear some cars on the road in front of the house. Hendrik is uncomplicated and friendly - absolutely recommendable.

Even though we unfortunately had to leave earlier than planned, it was still nice there and the communication was great! Hendrik's dad is a real soul and the pitch is pure nature!

When the pictures of the pitch were taken, it was certainly nice there. Unfortunately, the pitch is currently not in the best condition. We expected something different. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful place, with many possibilities... and nice support on site!!!

A really nice stand-alone pitch. Great to spend the night and everything was available as described. We slept very well and were woken up by birdsong. The contact with the host was great and even our late arrival was no problem. We would book here again. Thank you very much.

By far the most beautiful pitch I've been to so far! Simply very cozy, totally close to nature and - if you don't happen to catch the only weekend when the Beetle Meet is on, as we did - certainly also incredibly quiet! Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Hendrik in person, but his father welcomed us and was super nice! We will definitely be back.

The place was as described, an oasis of peace. The contact with Hendrik via app and his father personally was quick and very friendly. Thank you for that. Unfortunately, our dog was full of ticks within minutes. Due to a case of illness in the family, we are very sensitive about this and decided to leave early. Definitely very nice in another season.

Hendrik is a very relaxed and very friendly host. I really liked the pitch. A meadow and a small clearing between the trees with garden loungers, seats and a fire bowl. Yes, I heard the cars on the road, but the pitch is a good distance away from the road behind the house and the birds are chirping all around. Thank you for your hospitality!

The place is super beautiful. You are surrounded by forest and birdsong. The Hinte is only a stone's throw away and there are great hiking trails along the Hunte and through the forest. Highly recommended!

A quiet stay in the early season - as last year, the welcome from Hendrik was very friendly. Wood was also offered, campfire is a must in the cold :-). Many thanks for the relaxing weekend!

It was a very nice experience. The pitch is as described and even better. Water and electricity are available. We really enjoyed the campfire and everything you need is there.

A great backyard site. We spent the night here in a tent on a 2-day kayak tour. The proximity to the Hunte made it ideal. The site is beautifully laid out and the hosts are very nice and friendly. The whole process was totally uncomplicated. It was very nice and I would definitely recommend it.

I was passing through and found a nice place to stay at short notice with Hendrik and his wife between the forest and meadow. I wasn't there long enough to see everything in the area, but I was very pleased with the spontaneity and uncomplicated communication. I can imagine that you could easily spend more time here. Thank you for that!

Mini Scandinavia lives up to its promise! A wonderful place to relax and enjoy the rustic outdoors! The river Hunte is not far away and even has a porta-potty😉! Unfortunately, we didn't get to meet Hendrik himself, but he was duly represented by his dad. We really enjoyed our five days there! We'll definitely be back!

A very nice place to feel good, pure idyll !!! We were warmly welcomed by Hendrik and his father and were given lots of tips for the surrounding area. During our stay everything was well maintained and we spent a quiet time there, thank you very much.

Nice place, unfortunately we were not so lucky with the weather otherwise you could have sat outside wonderfully, the pitch is surrounded by trees and meadow, quiet location. We received a very nice briefing. Gladly again.

Uncomplicated communication in advance. Super nice host. On site exactly as in the pictures. You can either stand in the shade under the trees or on the sunny meadow. Well water and electricity available. And important for longer stays: A disposal station for chemical toilets is very close by in the small village. Ideal place for rest and relaxation and starting point for hikes and bike tours. There are also many beautiful geocaches in the area 😃 We liked it very much and will certainly come back again.

First overnight stay at hinterland camp. Perfect place in nature, exactly as described

Everything is just right here, nice, relaxed hosts, wonderful surroundings and a beautiful, "private" pitch, electricity for the essentials and water (not drinkable) for washing up or similar. There is a nearby lake for paddling, the Hunte is restricted during the breeding season, cycling is also possible. There is a top butcher's shop right next door! The only "minus points": depending on the wind, the nearby road is a bit noisy and we had some mosquitoes visiting, so pack some repellent. Very friendly and uncomplicated!

Hendrik is a very friendly and helpful host. On the pitch you can choose whether you want to stand under the rustling fir trees or more in the sun. The long-burning campfire turned the cold weekend into a successful event. Not forgetting the great hiking opportunities on the nearby Hunte!

The booking with Hendrik for "little Scandinavia" was uncomplicated and the welcome was warmly North German. A short briefing and a Danish beer, hot chocolate and firewood as a welcome. What more could you want. We chose a spot under the fir trees and spent a night near the Hunte in perfect weather. Next time perhaps with a packraft tour. A clear recommendation for "little Scandinavia".

In September a few days on site, actually in the middle of nature (meadow and forest), despite proximity to the village, good possibilities to reach everything by bike. Have felt very comfortable, thanks to Tanja and Hendrik! The name "Mini Scandinavia" is sooo appropriate and from us there is a clear recommendation for a visit many greetings Andreas and Corinna

A natural, lonely place, which nevertheless offers everything you need. We have made here a stopover with tent after a paddle stage on the Hunte. For this, the place has the best location. It is only 300 m to the entry point. Store and gastro are within easy walking distance. The hosts are nice and helpful. Absolute recommendation!

We really had a dream week, the place is super secluded and excellent to drive to. Tomatoes cucumbers and tomato jam (!) in the stand right outside the front door taste incredible.

Hendrik has a particularly nice place there! Lovingly decorated, electricity and groundwater are there. Just right for those who want to enjoy their rest and experience a bit of Scandinavia. Our host always responded quickly, welcomed us very nicely and even wrote tips for things to do on a map provided. We had a great stay!

I was received very friendly, had the pitch as promised for me alone and could spread out. Sun, shade, seating, deck chairs and a rain-proof little hut - everything was there and exactly as I had imagined. I am very satisfied :-)

Very original place: cozy on the edge of the forest or if desired a small piece in the forest... very nice! Hosts I have not met, but communication was also so uncomplicated, the place quite easy to find. Great area for hiking and biking...!

Little Scandinavia meets it in any case. Have us Saturday morning spontaneously decided to arrive. Although Hendrik was on the road with his wife came a quick feedback and booking. Fire halls, firewood, running water were to be found on site. We are with our Jimny and roof tent so as struck Tarp behind at the spruces pulled under. Despite light rain we were protected and had a first beautiful night in the roof tent. We come back in any case and can only recommend the place!!!

Our spontaneous request was answered immediately, nice exchange with the host, free choice of site on the spacious grounds of a former tree nursery, only guests, located close to nature in the forest, with barbecue / fireplace, seating, groundwater and electricity included, undisturbed space, highly recommended. interesting destinations, currently blueberries also for self-picking (Hof Hagestedt or Spille, and the Hunte (for paddling) nearby.

We spent a weekend with Hendrik and his wife. Both are totally nice and helpful. We have felt very comfortable. The provided space is very large, there is even electricity and a fire basket with enough wood that is available. It was totally quiet, so we slept very well. The tip from the two to walk along the Hunte was great. We can only recommend this great path with the old trees. We thank you for the hospitality.

Nice place to stay for a night on a bike tour on the Hunte and very sympathetic hosts - definitely recommended!

Actually, you can not praise Hendrik and family too much. Otherwise, the place is constantly occupied or it must be expanded, then it is over with the peace ... So many thanks to the host and family, including father. Uncomplicated, helpful and technical expertise when it is needed. An idyllic place directly on the forest and good starting point to get to know the Hunte. Caution is advised when entering the site to not flatten the trees. Meadow, relatively straight, wedges not necessary. And what is nicer than to barbecue and chill by the crackling fire. Gladly again.

Very sympathetic host who also still makes sure that only 1 vehicle at a time stays on the relaxing meadow. So we had not only pure relaxation, sonder our dog could also run around freely the entire time. We liked it very much!!!
