Very quiet, green and uncomplicated. I would love to come back.
"Viking Land".... We were a little disappointed: lots of "land" but not a single Viking! No seriously: party, noise, great shopping opportunities and trendy restaurants within walking distance, 1000 people, hustle and bustle and chaos....anyone looking for all that would be better off moving on quickly! But for US, this was a dream here at Otto! We were only here for one night but our stay was great! A mowed meadow with a firm lawn, more than enough space, blazing sun if desired or a shady spot in front of the hedge and all you can hear is your own breathing, the (possibly) compressor fridge and the hard-working but very careful rooster, who politely (well-behaved?) only starts crowing AFTER the guests get up. Yes, you should of course be self-sufficient. There is no toilet, water or wifi, but if you absolutely need it, don't look for a place in the "hinterland"! We liked it very much (despite the rain)! Thank you, Otto!!!!
Everything was great! Great quiet place with lots of pastures all around.
Very nice, scenic, idyllic, quiet pitch. Otto is very friendly, sociable and relaxed. His dog is also very friendly and so are the chickens. All in all, a really recommendable pitch for anyone looking for peace and nature.

We had a few wonderful days with our camper van at Otto and his charming Labby lady Trude in Vikingland. Pure idyll and tranquillity! Thank you Otto for your hospitality and helpfulness, we (and especially our dog) felt at home with you Poodle- no Labrador 😉 We will definitely be back again. Kind regards, André, Marlies and Qiwi

I spent three days on the pitch or on the alternative pitch because of the strong wind. I and my dog really enjoyed it. It's a place to take a deep breath. Otto showed me the ropes and held the gate open for me when I left. A nice place for my first tour with my own camper.
Thanks to Otto for the nice pitch directly at the paddock. We come to admire the horses and also in the meantime chickens, but they did not bother. Thanks for the stay and love greetings

Unfortunately, we could not go alongside Otto on our return trip from Norway due to weather conditions (acute storm warning) and had to exchange the roof tent for a storm-proof shelter instead. The communication with Otto was pleasant. We will test his Viking land soon retrospectively 😉
A very nice quiet place in the middle of nothing and still shopping and co. nearby. A friendly host and enough space, we come back for sure times:)

During my passage to Norway I made rest stop at Otto's meadow. Otto has received me super friendly, answered all my questions very nice. The location is close to nature, very quiet and was super as rest for my onward journey. Highly recommended :-) Thank you Otto, that you provide us campers this great piece of earth :-)

Ideal for nature lovers and active vacationers I recently had the pleasure of spending an overnight stay at Otto. Even beforehand, the communication with Otto was super friendly and straightforward. He responded quickly to my inquiry about Hinterland and answered all my questions. When I arrived, I was allowed to choose a pitch on the fairly flat terrain. The setting was simply gorgeous and offered just the tranquility I was looking for. The picturesque fields and forests all around invite you to walk and explore. It was simply wonderful to enjoy nature and leave the stress of everyday life behind me. The area also offers many small roads leading across the fields, making it perfect for cycling. The landscape is ideal for those who like to be active outdoors or just want to unwind

As expected asolute peace and purest nature. The small meadow is located directly on a paddock, where currently two mares with their foals graze....wonderful to watch. Otto has received us on arrival friendly and was able to give us a few tips for the surrounding area on the way. It's a damn good place to ride a bike.

A beautiful place in the middle of nowhere between meadows and fields, where you can spend quiet nights. Otto is a great host, uncomplicated and helpful. We will be happy to come again!
For us, Viking Land was a nice stopover on the way to Denmark. We stood alone with our rental Bullu on the meadow and a blackberry hedge offered us a good wind and privacy protection. Here you have his peace and is for himself in a beautiful environment: Hinterland pure. Otto is a friendly and helpful host with a good sense of humor. We like to come back.
