It was our first time camping (both of us with our two children), great place, very nice contact, everything there, we would love to come back. Thank you very much !!!

We had a quiet night by the lake. The location is great! One star deduction because 38€ per night is too much from our point of view.

This was the second time we stayed with Andreas. This time for 2 nights, as we took advantage of the proximity to Lake Starnberg for a detour. Apart from us, there were two other "campers" there. We were all able to stand right by the lake and as we were the first to arrive, we had free choice of pitch. On arrival, we were greeted warmly by Andreas' father and Andreas also popped in later. On Sunday we were able to buy fresh, home-baked bread rolls and we could also take eggs with us. What we didn't know from last time: there is an extra room for washing up - even with a washing machine and dryer. Our "spontaneous request" for electricity was immediately fulfilled. Oh yes, and extras cost extra ;) But in return, you have almost exclusive use of a fantastic spot on earth... even if we didn't find it quite so difficult to leave in the rain this time. If we were to head south again, we would definitely use this spot again for a stopover!

Very beautiful surroundings, good layout and equipment of the campsites (with fire pit). We would love to come again!

The campsites are simply a dream, the farm is very quiet and right next to a bathing lake. We really enjoyed our stay with Andreas and spontaneously extended our stay by one night.

Super nice pitch in a great region. Super nice hosts, helpful and always friendly.

The bathing lake was very nice, but unfortunately it was raining cats and dogs. No firm ground, we were standing in the mud. Toilet and shower were clean, but too far away from the pitch, you had to cross the field path, through a gate, across the meadow, through the garden, not lit at night......we didn't feel welcome, and you almost had to fight for the information about electricity and shower. You won't see us there again. The price was totally exaggerated compared to other pitches. No wifi

Great little pitch, under the trees. Fresh water on site. Bathing in the lake was brilliant only a few metres from the van. Great fun and very quiet at night.

Communication with the host worked well via the website. The pitch is beautiful and right by the bathing lake with a fire pit with table and benches. Unfortunately, it is right next to a dirt road where bicycles and hikers regularly pass by. It was also a pity that the toilet flushing did not always work. We had 3 pitches and really enjoyed our time together on the lake.

Operator very nice, even late arrival time unproblematic. (Therefore the 2 stars) 2 pitches on the lake -> view unfortunately very overgrown. Nevertheless a beautiful little swimming lake. We stood in the fenced area of the yard (2nd parking space). Toilet and shower available, but very run down and very unhygienic. In itself a very nice place and for 38€ a night "okay" if the place was more well-kept and cleaner. As described above, the place was definitely not worth its 38€ (August2024) for an overnight stay. For the pictures, reviews and the price we expected much more. Too bad.

Andreas is an incredibly friendly and helpful host. We were able to jump into the lake first thing in the morning right next to the pond. We recommend a private shower/toilet for those with sensitive hygiene issues. Otherwise you can stand by the pond with a view of the water and enjoy the peace and quiet. The dogs occasionally come to visit, as do the mosquitoes. But of course, at the lake :) Special thanks again to Andreas, as he helped us with a car breakdown without batting an eyelid to repair the damage. Best wishes from Berlin, dear Andreas.

Great place by the pond. We were only there 1 night, stopover on the way to Slovenia, but for 1 x swim in the beautiful lake the time was enough. Very quiet.

Unfortunately, I was there in very unsettled weather, so the pitch in the shade was very damp and not so nice to stay on. I also had to leave on business every day, so the access road was too awkward for me, it's quite narrow for larger motorhomes and brushes against the bushes. That's why I only stayed one night instead of 4. Otherwise everything was great for cyclists and swimmers

Was my first booking on Hinterland. Very friendly and uncomplicated. Great location and quiet. Could wonderfully light a fire and barbecue with the tripod available on site. Swimming at the lake is also possible about 100m walk from the camp site. Gladly again at any time.

the place and the other people were great. we only had one overnight stay because it was planned as a stopover on our trip.

As all the predecessors have already described. Wonderful! Uniquely relaxed and uncomplicated. We were able to get firewood for a fee, buy meat from the lamb, the lake was a dream for the kids, etc. Any time again.

...nice quiet place at a great natural swimming lake with evening sun. WoMo can stand in the shade in the heat, which was very pleasant. I wouldn't want to pay extra for the bath offered, it's good to be self-sufficient.

It's a lovely place, the lake is beautiful for swimming. We had booked the wrong place (tent), Andreas made another place available to us without any complications. General info: I think the prices are now quite high at almost all of them, which is regrettable.

Wonderful place directly at the lake. With everything you need for total relaxation. There is a fire pit with firewood and a toilet with shower. Water and electricity can be purchased if required. Communication with Andreas was totally unproblematic. We would love to come back.

I really must say, beautiful place by the pond. Here and the surroundings are very beautiful. It's a quiet place and you can just enjoy the beautiful day. I would definitely recommend it and would be happy to come back again. Thank you Andreas, even the rain didn't chase us away so quickly on the last two days.

Andreas and his family are uncomplicated and very nice. The lake was great. The pitch right on the water too. At the fire pit there is a seating area with a table and waste wood so you can make a fire. You should definitely bring something against mosquitoes. The toilet and shower were always clean. You had to walk a tiny bit to get there - but this is no different at many campsites. Unfortunately, the fishing club is not very open-minded towards dogs bathing in the small lake. Andreas has nothing against bathing dogs. All in all, great - we'll be back! Maybe the sauna that Andreas is building will be ready by then ;-)

Everything was really perfect! The location is great, with a fireplace and a bit away from the house, so you can't disturb anyone. The lake is also great for swimming. Andreas really makes everything possible, whether tables or firewood or handcarts - no problem at all. It was great and can only be recommended!

The pitch was beautifully located and everything was very straightforward. I didn't meet Andreas himself, but the woman I spoke to was very nice and welcoming. We left the pitch a day early because of the constant rain, but would have liked to stay longer. Despite the heavy thunderstorm, the pitch was so weatherproof that leaving was no problem. We definitely have the site on our radar for future trips :-)

Had a great weekend. Andreas is a friendly host who is always helpful on the beautiful farm. In addition to the lovely pets, there are also chickens and sheep. It's also great to be able to buy eggs directly on site. (Zero Foodmiles 😁). All in all: Always happy to return.

Andreas wasn't there himself, but everything went smoothly and in a friendly manner. The pitch itself is beautifully situated by the lake, but you share it with another vehicle. A path leads right past the campsite, so every now and then there are curious inquiries from hikers or cyclists, or someone sits down at the campsite, as there is an inviting bench. So unfortunately not completely secluded or wild but still beautiful.

I can only say all in all super great pitch. Andy was very sympathetic. I spent a wonderful night. In the morning a round swam in the lake. Come again with pleasure 👌

Beautiful location, overlooking and access to the swimming lake. SUP or boats are not allowed in the lake. Dogs are not allowed either. There are two benches and a table, and a fireplace. Toilets and shower (2,- per shower) are on the farm - about 50 meters away. There is an Edeka nearby (about 30 minutes walk). Otherwise: pure nature! There is little or no internet reception. Operators are friendly, but neither by phone nor by mail reachable. So: Don't be surprised if there is no answer after confirmation from Hinterland. Neither farm store nor active farm - at least not yet ( as of September 2023). Overall, however, a nice place.

Friendly, The place was as we had imagined, very quiet, no Schickimicki, simply build, unpack and the vacation begins, gladly times again.

My first time with Hinterland. Great place with a nice little fire pit. A bit overgrown but nothing that couldn't be fixed quickly. Swimming in the moorland lake in the evening and a campfire afterwards. A dream! Host was very friendly. Thank you very much, gladly again!

We liked it very much. Very nice place on the lake under trees. Children could play great.

I can not understand the positive reviews. Place is narrow u muddy. The pictures are deceiving, lake view at the place hardly to not present. A walking path leads directly past the vehicles (in the morning at 7 o'clock already someone noisy on the road). Road is clearly audible during the day, quiet at night. Dogs in the lake prohibited, sign and statement of an angler. Water connection between scrap metal / bulky waste u cobwebs. Yard and entire environment rather unkempt. All in all 34€ clearly too expensive!

Everything was great, the lake is beautiful and you have it almost to yourself in the morning or evening. We were in the courtyard with a campfire site, but you can also stand by the lake. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely come back.

Great spot directly between lake and forest edge and then still almost alone. Barbecue available, shower and toilet in the main house. We come again.

Fantastic pitch! Insider tip! Park backwards to the lake.... open the camper doors in the back.... and the view from the bed makes blissful. Wonderful swimming lake, invites you to swim at any time. Andreas and family were warm hosts..... we come again! P.s. what would be perhaps to consider, the narrow approach path ( between lake and fence)for large caravans or motor homes is difficult. We were with a box car.

A beautiful spot, but in future we will be traveling with an empty toilet cassette 😉. Power cable once across the path and quite far, we needed an extension. But, we would come back again and again. The nature is beautiful! Thank you Andreas for letting us be there! We would love to come back :)

Super uncomplicated processing. Friendly reception. We could not stand directly on the lake, but still had a super and mega private place - about 20 steps from the lake ;) Cat in the car and a morning swim in the lake included. The bathroom was a bit more rustic. We would definitely visit this spot again.

Great place at the gates of Munich

A wonderful pitch, right on the lake, so you could swim a round in peace right after getting up. Clean water and a pleasant peace. Who does not need this, it is only 10 km to the S-Bahn connection to Munich. Everything quite uncomplicated and very nice briefing on arrival. Really recommendable !

A really great pitch on a small farm with pitches right next to a small pond. There is a small fireplace, electricity and water, shower and toilet. All communication in advance and the reception were very nice and friendly. We will be happy to come back again!

We have become repeat offenders 😉👍🏼 This time we stood at the back place, facing the meadow and were very happy about this. Wonderfully shady and quiet. The lake was really nice and warm and our camper neighbors were very friendly. They had three wonderful dogs, which is not a problem here. The host also came by and is a super sweet person. We plan to come again, have a new favoritezieil. Thank you for letting us be there!

Pitch on the lake Absolutely TOP. Sanitary room 50 m. Who wants to have peace and a book at hand, which is hard to find something better. By bike 35 km to Munich, in the other direction 25 km and the Alps begin! Host Andreas uncomplicated and nice.

A beautiful place to relax and a really very friendly and helpful host. With pleasure we come again.

We stood super nice, directly on the swimming lake. This can be swum through, there is an entrance and the water was warm. The pitches are partially shaded. From the father we were received friendly and when then Andreas came home, he greeted us extra. We found that very friendly! Internet is available from time to time, but rather less. A few steps uphill is fine. We have but not particularly disturbed. The nature around the site is wonderful and you can see many dragonflies and birds. In the morning we walked around the lake, not quite, because we respect the nature reserve, but we really liked it. We got water and electricity. Toilets and showers are also available, as well as washing machine and dryer. Electricity per day 3 €. The gravel and partly sandy pitches are relatively straight, the rear one needs wedges, we didn't need any. You can hear street noise and especially behind the place passing pedestrians and cyclists, as well as, talking swimmers in front of the pitch. We felt that this was ok. The only thing we would like would be a separation of the site by, for example, a hedge, because it's really not very nice when you're eating sitting in front of the camper and in sight, so close that you would almost offer a place, adult bathers stark naked sunbathe, etc.. Otherwise, we liked it very much! We will probably come again once. Due to the beautiful nature, the pitch, directly on the swimming lake, the very inviting pitch with electricity and water, etc. and the positive contact, we find the price absolutely justified. Thank you for a nice stay!

We had a wonderful weekend with Andreas. A very nice spot he has there. You have to walk a bit between the campground and the yard, but it is also wonderfully quiet and "wild". You can swim in the pond. Andreas is super nice and takes care of his guests with eggs and firewood wonderfully. We come back with pleasure!

Very nice place to spend a few nights. Pitch directly on the lake. Great tips from the very nice host/family for walking and eating out (Tip: Holzwirt in nearby Ascholding. Good P/L ratio with nice beer garden). Fresh eggs can be bought directly at the farm. Fireplace with firewood available. Electricity (Schuko) available if needed. Underground somewhat loose in wet weather. From time to time friendly anglers and walkers. One does not feel disturbed in any case. Vehicle size up to 6.5m without problems feasible. But also with caravan (or possibly larger vehicle) alternative pitch available. Best to ask with concerns. Price for the pitch relatively high. Nevertheless, 5 stars, because we felt very comfortable and Andreas is a very nice man with ambitions and plans for further offers on and around the farm. I am happy if I can support him in this. Thank you very much and gladly again!

A nice host, the area is very secluded and invites you to walk in the adjacent forest, which is also used by some locals. Likewise, the lake is used for fishing. The site is adjacent to the named farm and not far from the road. A fireplace with firewood as well as shower and toilet is available for an additional, but small, fee. All in all an idyllic place, even if not completely quiet and undisturbed. The price I consider, despite the beautiful area, too high. My conclusion: Apart from the price, this place certainly deserves 5 stars.

Friendly host Andreas offers a few nice places to camp right on the lake, fire making is possible and firewood is available. It is like wild camping. A toilet and shower (for a fee) are available in the farmhouse. The cost was high at 32 euros / night.

Have used the pitch as a last stop before the return, in good weather certainly recommended. Were very friendly welcome and briefed. Idyllic and uncomplicated.
