Everything was great—a very nice place, a great view, and a friendly host.

Those who stay here really enjoy peace and quiet and pure nature. The view of the Elbe dyke, the passing ships and the cornfields is balm for the soul. Our highlight was an evening by the fire bowl. Jan even gave us some wood, thank you very much. They even make really good oils by hand here, delicious 😋. Such a hard-working and lovely family. We all felt very comfortable again, including the dogs. 1000 thanks for the wonderful time Jessika and Jan, we'll be back.
The site is located on the grounds of an old farm on the edge of a field with a very beautiful and wide view. We were lucky enough to be on our own (without any other campers). In the evening, a deer came to visit at sunset - you couldn't ask for more nature and tranquillity. We would like to thank Jan and his family for such a great place and this wonderful stay. The site is located on the edge of a field and you have a very nice view. We were greeted by a deer as soon as we arrived and were able to observe pheasants, falcons and other birds. The field leads directly to the ferry landing stage. Quiet and close to nature. Fire bowl available on site. Beautiful sunset incl. electricity, water and wood were available for a small fee. We thank Jan and his family for the stay!

It was a very nice, quiet, relaxed weekend on this pitch with our roof tent. Very nice, helpful landlords, we felt totally at home there. View over the fields, watching the deer, rabbits, ducks and pheasants, enjoying the beautiful sunset over the field. The dyke is within sight, a relaxed 5-minute walk along the country lane. To relax, just switch off really recommended, gladly again.
That was our first journey. (We were self-sufficient) We got off to a great start. Thank you very much for: - from start to finish - everything. We will be back. Friendly welcome, quiet location, we had good cell phone reception. We were in Beckmanns Strandhalle, 1km away, nice on the dike for lunch. Overall highly recommended. Everything as described.
Super nice, super uncomplicated, great for a walk along the Elbe. We got eggs and rosemary from the children. If we ever drive this way again, we'll come back.
We can recommend the pitch at Jan's without reservation. There is plenty of space and it is very quiet there. We had a great weekend there and the location is ideal for walking dogs along the Elbe. So once again, many thanks to Jan for this pitch 👍🏻.

Thank you very much for letting us stay with you in the low season. We had a peaceful stay with you and can only recommend you. In very rainy weather we were happy to be able to stand on your concrete slab.
Nice, quiet place on the backyard with direct access to the dike. Electricity and water are available on request extra for a flat fee of 5€/day. Baker is just around the corner (300 meters) and also otherwise the place has geschäftemäßig much to offer. Excursions to the beach to Friedrichskoog or to the locks in Brunsbüttel recommended ☺️👍🏻 host family was also totally nice. We say thank you for the accommodation 🙂

Hello Jan Peter and family, we liked it very much in the one week with you. Who is looking for peace is in good hands here. The region invites cycling, which we can prove with our unwound 280 km. On the Elbe up and down, as well as along the NOK or over land, it had always been nice bike tours. Many love greetings from the Thuringians Stephanie and Thomas
Everything as described. One has his peace and only a few meters to the dike. Suitable for long walks or bike rides. Baker and farm store nearby. Gladly again.
We had 2 turbulent nights on the large meadow just behind the dike - it was very stormy. Thanks to the big barn and the concreted yard we were able to brave the storm. We had a nice exchange with Jan Peter. We can recommend the place.

We really felt very very nicely taken care of. The place was lovingly prepared and wildly romantic. We were able to choose a pitch behind the large barn and had an unobstructed view, with sunset, of the dike. We were allowed to help ourselves to the wood and make a fire.... Not 5 min walk away is an Italian restaurant with delicious cuisine. Jan Peter and family are enthusiastically rebuilding the beautiful parental farm. We will be very happy to come back to see you grow!

A nice place with nice people - so it should be in the hinterland :-) We will certainly come again when the meadow is passable in summer, then it is even better. Mobile network (telecom) was stable, everything around with the wheel well to do.
Rural, rustic charm with nature, a lot of tranquility and foresight. Nice host, who will certainly still implement one or the other camper-friendly idea. Elbe, canal and locks within walking distance. We liked it well and we will definitely come back, especially if the meadow is passable.
Everything super have recovered nicely on the square
We were here in February, the weather was typical North German and therefore stood somewhat protected at the barn. A beautiful place in a perfect location, from here you can get everywhere on foot or by bike. 3min distance to the bakery, so breakfast is also secured. We will be happy to come back:)
Great stay with Jan Peter. Pure tranquility on the dike in the old town center of Brunsbüttel. Even if we have not met Jan Peter personally, we can only recommend the stay - everything very uncomplicated if necessary by cell phone. TipTop. Thank you Sandra and Marc.
A quiet place on the edge of nature. Ideal for walking with dogs, because you can go directly from the square and immediately be in nature. On the other hand, there is also the possibility to go to town via the courtyard. A pizzeria and a bakery can be reached in the immediate vicinity. Thank you very much for the nice stay. We will be happy to come back :-)

We are and remain repeat offenders here. Thank you very much, dear Jan, that we were allowed to be here again. It is just so relaxing, even with the heat on the weekend. The big tree gave us pleasant shade and there was always a light breeze coming from the open field. Thanks also for the wood, so we could end the balmy evenings at the campfire. Who does not drive here is to blame.
Actually we write one nothing at all, so that it remains here so quietly, as it is :))) but we can't do that to Jan. It is 1000 times more beautiful than expected. A meadow with a view over fields and meadows to the Elbe dike. A young falcon, various other birds, deer and hares gave us company here while relaxing. Jan is such a dear and friendly host. We were allowed to choose where and how we wanted to stand, also we were allowed to make a campfire in the evening. It was an undisturbed and relaxing weekend with you, thank you very much. The place was great! A large meadow, with trees, walking distance to the dike and in the small, sweet village center with restaurant and bakery. Jan Peter we have not met, but we talked on the phone beforehand and everything went smoothly. Thank you very much!
We can absolutely recommend the pitch. Very nice, uncomplicated and accommodating hosts. The site itself is located in the middle of greenery and very idyllic near the mouth of the Elbe. Only a few minutes by bike to the dike, where very sociable sheep work. Will be very happy to come back.
Super great and very quiet pitch not far from the former pier of the ferry to Cuxhafen. Baker and pizzeria not 200 meters away. Jan-Peter is a super nice host. We like to come back. That what recreation from the first minute 👍👍
A quiet place. 5 minutes walk to the nearest bus stop, 3 stops to the S-Bahn, get off after a short time at the Jungfernsteg or the Landungsbrücken and you can experience Hamburg. We liked it very much. Camping, just the way we like it. One feels welcome as a guest. Thank you Jan Peter
If you don't miss the entrance, the pitch is on a mowed meadow behind the hall with a great wide view towards the dike. Free choice of site, after telephone contact with the host. Electricity and water must be arranged in advance.
Super friendly and open young family. Spacious yard with great play opportunities. The dike is reached after 10 minutes through the field, restaurant and bakery right outside the door. Once again we felt very comfortable and will definitely come back soon!
Many thanks,Jan, for this idyllic and quiet overnight stay. The pheasant has watched us all the time. Have eaten well at the Italian and the walk through the rape field to the Elbe to look at the ships was already unique.

We had a few relaxing days on this beautiful spot. You feel in the middle of nowhere, but you can find a bakery around the corner. And in the immediate vicinity there are still plenty of things to discover if you want.
Camping in nature, on lush green grass. Nice, uncomplicated landlord. We will come again!

Who likes pure nature is in good hands here. At our pitch passed rabbits, cats, deer frogs and a hedgehog. Jan has warmly welcomed us and instructed us. Through the field you are quickly at the Elbfähranleher.

We just came from this great pitch and it is certain - we will be back! The site is very quiet and designed so that you have privacy despite other guests. From the site you walk along a small dirt road and is in a few minutes on the dike. Here you can walk wonderfully, look at ships and enjoy the water. The host is very nice and sympathetic, helpful, but was at no time intrusive. At Jan Peter you can spend wonderfully quiet days and I definitely recommend the pitch. Many thanks to Jan Peter :)
Very relaxed and accommodating host, and a good location.
We were already the second time with Jan and his family. This time we could stand on the green area and had a beautiful view over the fields to the ferry dock. Has everything fit, we will definitely come again.
It was a quiet pitch in the yard, we were able to move our large motorhome even after the meadow was very wet due to incipient rain and we would otherwise have come down badly again. So all good.
We didn't like the ambience.....we went again.
Very nice contact! Pitch was a dream, peace, space, short walk to the Elbe and gastronomy. Rabbits and deer have visited us themselves. Simply very idyllic location! Thank you!!!! We can only recommend the place.

The host was totally friendly, everything went super smoothly. As an alternative to the wet meadow, a concrete slab behind the barn was available. The location of the accommodation is central, everything within walking distance. Gladly again at any time!

Since it had rained a lot, we were very happy about the alternative parking space on the stone floor.The location is great and a great Italian once around the corner. Jan Peter is a very nice host and we felt well taken care of. Gladly again, then with more sun.
Beautiful meadow with a view of the Elbe dike. In view of the ferry dock for a trip to Cuxhafen (who must go through the Elbe tunnel, has here an alternative worth considering). Short walk to the historic center. Good Italian around the corner.

After we arrived, we were very warmly welcomed by Jan Peter. The pitches are very nice and quiet. The site is located on the outskirts of Brunsbüttel, you can reach the town very easily on foot. In addition, you can make very good bike tours from here. When you come back exhausted, you can get delicious pizza at the Italian Ginelli (2 min. from here).We liked it very much. We will definitely come here again.
