Warm hosts and free choice of pitch. Despite the rain of the previous days, we had no problems with our 7.74 meter long motorhome. We found a great location where we had a wonderful stay. Our 3 dogs were warmly welcomed and played with the hosts' dog the very next day. Such a relaxed atmosphere and above all my thanks to them for sharing this with strangers!

Many thanks for the hospitality, a really nice place. Enough space to spread out even for larger motorhomes;) There are lots of frogs at the pond giving a concert and it's not far to the coast from here. We will definitely be back again!

Great hosts, beautifully located and quiet pitches, cycle paths right next to the site, shopping facilities, restaurants and the North Sea within easy cycling distance. We were able to really relax here and would like to thank you once again for the perfect pitch, the heavenly peace and quiet and the warm and unobtrusive hospitality! Claudia + Michael
The place is highly recommended. Quiet 360° panoramic view. Meadow accessible from paved path. Electricity was there as described. And very nice courteous communication

Dear Kathi, dear Dirk, it was a dream with you under the chestnut trees. Thank you again also for the electricity and water supply. I will certainly come back again. :-) Who would like to find once completely to the rest, is here very well kept. Please be sure to take a bike, as shopping facilities are e.g. in Dornum about 6.5 km away and also all other beautiful spots such as, Norddeich about 20 km (ferry to Norderney) or Nessmersiel about 5 km(ferry to Baltrum) are away. Also highly recommended is the seawater outdoor pool (cold) in Dornumersiel as well as the fish store and snack bar Rinjes (13 km away) or Luth Eilts in Junkersrott (about 8 km away). Here there is a network of bike paths without end starting directly at the farm. Top! @ Bianca: Your negative evaluation surprises me but very much! The road to the chestnut pitches is paved. Every camper knows that in a wet and rainy weather you should check green areas BEFORE driving on them. Especially if you are not driving a four wheel drive vehicle. You should have done that BEFORE you left the trail and simply drove onto the green space. Surely this very omission, coupled with lack of experience, cannot be the deciding factor in such a presumptuous and unfair assessment of the host. And by the way, there is electricity from the host here! Kind regards, Ralf
A muddy meadow was rented out, where getting stuck was pre-programmed. Even on the assigned to us, supposedly solid ground, we came the next day not from the spot. The info that it would have rained finally two weeks here, came unfortunately too late. We were pulled out, but were then for one night a total of 115 € lighter (without electricity!). Our recommendation: follow the weather forecast of Dornum two weeks before or take enough cash with you.

Wonderfully idyllic pitch on the lawn of the estate, in the hinterland. Were well provided with electricity, water and tips.
This is a very nice secluded place where you can see the deer jump. But still very close to the coast where you can go super by bike. Dirk is a great host and is happy to give excursion tips. We like to come back for a longer time.
