Berta Beach: Quiet place by the pond

Dear Hinterland campers,

We’d like to welcome you to a small historic farmhouse🏚️🌳 that’s currently in a state of slumber.

Here you’ll find a peaceful spot right on the edge of the forest🌲, with a pond 💧 and a rustic well.

In just a three-minute walk, you’ll find yourself in the unique Wellertal valley🍃, which is perfect for relaxing and taking unforgettable walks—with or without your dog 🐕.

In about 30 minutes on foot, you can reach a picturesque café🍰.

Just a short distance from Silberbach lies the porcelain town of Selb, featuring ice cream parlors🍨, outlet stores💸, a forest swimming pool🛝, an ice rink⛸️, festivals 🎸, and much more.

Our farm shop, which also serves as an inn, is about a 40-minute bike ride or a five-minute drive away. Don’t miss the scenic bike ride 🚴🏼 over the Steinberg, an extinct volcano 🌋!

In Hohenberg an der Eger, you’ll find a beautiful castle complex,

the Porcelain Museum, the wallpaper factory🧱, the world leader in chenille weaving🛍️, the porcelain factory, the Carolinen Spring, and many great hiking and biking trails.🚴🏼‍♀️
