Our farm is located in the idyllic little village of Kleinwendern, which has made a name for itself far beyond our district as Bavaria’s first “arch village.” In addition to this unique feature, Kleinwendern is secluded yet centrally located in the Fichtelgebirge mountains. It serves as an excellent starting point for hikes, bike rides, or even climbing trips around and up the Kösseinestock. The Wunsiedel Rock Labyrinth and the Luisenburg Festival, with its beautiful open-air stage, are practically within walking distance.
Our fruit orchard is located on the outskirts of the village. Separated from the rest of the property by a barn, it feels almost secluded. A campfire pit invites you to enjoy a cozy get-together even after the sun sets behind the Kösseine.
For the hikers among you, we recommend the Wirtshaus auf der Kösseine, which offers a first-class panoramic view of the Fichtelgebirge and the Steinwald. Pizza delivery right to your tent or RV is also available if you’d rather stay seated by the campfire.

A really great place and a very nice host. We felt extremely comfortable there.
We pitched our tent at this wonderful spot for two nights. It’s so idyllic—a sweeping view, a hammock, a swing, wood, a campfire pit, fruit trees, and a truly elegant restroom... The host family is incredibly friendly and helpful. We’d love to come back.
That was a really great adventure! 😄 I felt so at home with Andrea and Michi and totally enjoyed my time there. They’re just awesome! 😊 The mattress on the bus, though, was a little adventure in itself—let’s just say: My back now knows what it feels like to sleep on a board. 😂
A beautiful, spacious spot in the orchard, with a fire pit. Michl gave us a warm welcome and explained everything we needed to know. Great location for hiking, biking, and visiting the thermal baths in Bad Alexandersbad. We really enjoyed our stay.
It was absolutely wonderful here. We were given a very warm welcome and will definitely be back.
