We were only here for one night and were more than satisfied! The small historic farm is in a wonderfully quiet location right on the edge of the forest - ideal for simply switching off. The pond and rustic fountain create a wonderfully idyllic atmosphere. We were just a few minutes' walk from the beautiful Wellertal valley, which is perfect for relaxing walks - even with our two dogs. We would love to come back and can recommend this place without reservation! 🌿
5Stars Once again I spent a wonderful week at Berta Beach . I enjoy the peace and quiet here with my 2 dogs and the friendliness of Anika. I will definitely come back 😀

We had two lovely nights at Berta Beach. The Wellerthal is beautiful and perfect for hiking and cycling with dogs. Annika and her family are warm and friendly hosts.
The place is as described. We really liked the quiet surroundings. It's also great that you can start great walks and hikes from the campsite. We would come again.
As always, everything was great, we always enjoy coming to Berta Beach and are already looking forward to next year.

We have now been there for the 2nd & certainly not the last time within a very short time. Communication via WhatsApp app or directly at the inn worked perfectly again. We can highly recommend the homemade sausage, eggs & various sausages from Annika's family, as well as the delicious food at the inn. Berta Beach is a great place to relax & unwind...& just around the corner there are paths for walking & cooling off in the stream, albeit a little deeper in some places. Thank you for letting us be there again🤗

It was wonderful again at Berta Beach 💚 In the heat this time it was a double relief to be able to dip in the pond and otherwise relax in the shade. Dogs and humans are simply thrilled with this unique place and we are already looking forward to the next time 🤗🤗 A big thank you to Annika & Family
Lovingly designed, down to the last detail, cozy & quiet spot with a swimming pond. There are both sunny and shady spots. Less than 200 meters away you can hike & cycle in a natural paradise, partly along the river & often in the shade. The 5 of us felt completely at home with our dogs. The icing on the cake was the delicious Schäuferla & roast venison from Annika's family business, Gasthof zur Burg. We also stocked up on some sausage and various sausages for the barbecue. We had forgotten the breakfast eggs. As far as mobile reception is concerned, I can say that I had excellent reception the whole time with D1, while my husband had none at all with 02 (thanks to my hotspot, he wasn't left high and dry either). Annika first greeted us kindly in writing & later in person at the inn, asked if everything was OK, gave us tips... We'll be back very soon👣👣🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾
A beautiful place. So many lovely little details. The contact with Annika was great. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to switch off for a few hours

A wonderful place, this is how we imagine camping in the hinterland! Easy to find, a very nice welcome, all to ourselves, on the water, direct access to great hiking trails - we had a wonderfully relaxing time! Thank you very much, we have already booked our next stay.

Stayed here for three nights in April and explored the area by bike. Nice, quiet place, which has its own charm with the small pond, especially in summer. Pleasant contact. We liked it.
You get out of the camper and are immediately at the pond. A wonderful area with great hiking trails. The Eger flows along with the hiking trails. Great rocks to the right and left. Many beautiful spots for unforgettable photos and moments. Absolute peace and quiet here on site. One of our most beautiful places. Annika was also there to say hello. You have to have been there. We would love to come again.

It was my first time camping with my two dogs. I was totally delighted with the peace and quiet and the friendly contact with Annika. Everything went smoothly and from the campsite you could walk straight into the forest with the dogs. You can eat well at Annika's inn. I will definitely be back .

We can only recommend this very quiet little place by the pond. We even extended our stay again.
Due to the weather, contact with Annika was only possible via the message function. But it was caring and cordial. The place is idyllically situated under oak and chestnut trees and lovingly designed. The surrounding area has the character of a lost place or, as described, is in a deep sleep. A beautiful hike/bicycle tour is possible from the campsite.
You have created a wonderful place. We spent two wonderful days with you in glorious weather. Thank you for letting us be there. Ps. The sausage tastes great 😊
The place is exactly as described, idyllic and quiet. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and the dinner at their inn was delicious. Communication was a little slow at times, but this was not a problem - permanent availability as a criterion is questionable anyway. The only thing that was a pain was the hot tub right in front of us, which was only used for private purposes. If you have a wasp phobia, you should think twice, there are numerous but very peaceful roommates here. We will definitely be back ❤️
The site is very idyllic. We booked at short notice and found our way around straight away, even without a briefing. The contact to Annika was established immediately via the message function and was very friendly! If you are looking for a secluded location, nature and simplicity and a lovingly designed site, this is the place for you! We really liked it!

Annika and her husband are super nice hosts. We felt completely at home at Berta Beach and really enjoyed this beautiful spot :) Getting electricity and water was no problem at all. Our dog was allowed to swim in the pond, a real highlight for him! We would love to come back :)

A great place that is very idyllic with its pond and is especially great on warmer days. There is plenty of shade and you have the water right on your doorstep. It's also great for walking and hiking or cycling, you can join the paths along the Eger right away. We will definitely be back.
We liked it so much that we extended our stay twice ☺️... If you like peace and nature, this is the place for you. And if you don't want to cook, the landlords have a restaurant in Hohenberg (Zur Burg) which is also highly recommended.
Everything was great. A quiet place with the beautiful Eger hiking trail in the immediate vicinity. The pond and the small "oases" are very lovingly laid out. There is hardly any traffic on the small road. The landlords are very friendly. We would love to come back

The place is beautiful and designed with love, I spent a very nice birthday weekend there. Bringing wedges is not wrong :-) Very nice bike tours and hikes can be started directly from the place.

**Travelogue: Unique days at "Bertas Beach "** Our time away led us to an unforgettable adventure at the idyllic campsite "Bertas Beach". With our cozy rooftop tent and a yearning for tranquility, we embarked on a journey of relaxation and exploration. Upon arrival, we already felt the special atmosphere of this place. "Berta's Beach" not only radiated a sense of tranquility, but also impressed with a picturesque little pond that invited us to linger. Our hosts, Thomas and Annika, welcomed us warmly and made us feel welcome right away. On the first day, we ventured on a bike ride to the inn at the castle. The route took us through breathtaking scenery and gave us the opportunity to experience the surroundings from a new perspective. The inn offered not only a historic ambiance, but also an exquisite selection of food. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and shared stories with other guests. The next day, we took a trip to the nearby forest swimming pool. The refreshing waters of the bathing lake invited us to swim and relax. The nature around us and the clear air made sure that we could completely forget about everyday life. The hospitality of Thomas and Annika made our stay special. They were at our side with helpful tips and created a family atmosphere that made us feel like we were with friends. With one laughing and one crying eye we left "Berta's Beach" after two days. The memories of this unique place, the warm-hearted hosts and the unforgettable experiences accompany us on our way back home. Our trip was not just a short vacation, but a collection of precious moments that will remain in our memories for a long time. That there should be problems with the Internet, we can not confirm. We were on our way back from Prague to this wonderful, idyllic place. Dreamlike!
We spent 3 nights at Berta's Beach, enjoyed the peace and quiet, the splashing water and nature and made trips to the surrounding area. By bike along the Eger to Hohenberg, good food in the restaurant with castle view 😊 , visit to the Porzellanikon and a trip to Karlovy Vary and Marienbad in the Czech Republic. Communication with Annika was great - and even though we did not meet in person, we got to know her very nice husband. We can highly recommend the pitch.
Very nice, quiet little place by the pond. At night it was totally quiet and during the day you could run great laps with the dog.
Also magical the second time. We met Annika and she is very sympathetic. We will come back more often.
And extended again! We have never stood so long in one place. Simply a mega great place! Absolute tranquility, super hiking trails also just with dog. Selb is easily accessible by bike. There is also a great very neat Ent / supply station with all Zipp and Zapp. We have really spent an incredibly good time there. Annika and Thomas are great hosts. This spot is not allowed to tell anyone. But we have to. Three bookings: so full 15 stars. Thank you for this spot 😉😎👍

at Annika we liked it very much, the piece of earth with the pond has really charm ! A dreamlike tranquility on site and very nice bike paths in the area. A visit to Annikas Wirtshaus can only be recommended, very tasty food and friendly atmosphere. We are also curious how the small Bauenrhof develops and come back for sure!

The stay on "Berta Beach" was simply terrific! A dream site in the middle of nature with beautiful pond, absolute peace and a great environment. At the RV park in Selb you can easily dispose of the gray water and the chemical toilet. So there is nothing against a longer stay! We come again!

Very nice and quiet place! Like in paradise! Great surroundings with very nice bike paths and small secluded spots on the Eger. Nice contact with the hosts. Food in the host restaurant excellent! Any time again!
An idyllic place with wonderful peace and wake up with a view of the pond. Ideal also for dog owners, around the corner equal to beautiful walking route and directly on the square meadow for even Hundi to make just quickly pee. The old small homestead spurred my senses and in my mind I have virtually renovated :). Thomas and Annika have a few kilometers further their inn, if you do not want to cook yourself. The only drawback for me: no cell phone reception, but a nice quiet place.
