Camping in the garden on the edge of the Lüneburg Heath

A warm welcome to our farm!

Since we’ve received such positive feedback on our camping options, we’d now like to offer another small lodging option.

In our beautifully situated garden, we have just two spots available for tents—ideal for anyone looking for a simple, nature-filled stay in a relaxed farm atmosphere.

Here’s what you can expect when you stay with us:

• About 30 meters to the restroom, bathroom, and shower

• Seating areas right in the garden

• Electricity for charging cell phones and other devices at the house and farm buildings

• An additional covered seating area near the buildings

• Wi-Fi near the house

• A beautifully situated garden right next to the house

Transportation is convenient, too: The train station with a connection to the erixx is only about 1 km away. In town, you’ll also find an EDEKA supermarket and various restaurants.

It’s important to us to be transparent about the location: The county road runs about 15 meters away. At night, it’s pleasantly quiet here. During the day, you can hear normal traffic on the nearby county road.

If you’re not looking for a traditional campground but rather a small, personal place to stay at a horse farm on the edge of the Lüneburg Heath, you’re very welcome here.

There’s plenty to experience around the farm as well. The varied landscape offers numerous opportunities for biking and hiking and is always exciting, especially for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts.

If you enjoy being outdoors, you’ll find many beautiful trails, quiet spots, and typical landscapes of the Lüneburg Heath in the surrounding area.

There are also various options for leisure activities. There’s a mini-golf course right in town, and in the immediate vicinity, you’ll find a wildlife park and many other destinations for both short and longer outings.

The region also has plenty to offer in terms of cuisine: you’ll find various inns and places to stop for a bite to eat in the surrounding area.

Another special feature during the heath season is the Heath Shuttle. From July through the end of September, it runs on several circular routes through the region and offers a wonderful opportunity to discover different places and landscapes of the heath.

This makes a stay with us a wonderful way to combine nature, exercise, excursions, leisure, and regional cuisine.
