We were extremely satisfied. A super friendly welcome and PEACE AND QUIET! Our only visitors were a little family of donkeys—including a baby donkey—in the adjacent pasture. If you’re looking for peace and quiet and can do without bathrooms and such, this is the perfect place for you!
A beautiful, idyllic, and peaceful spot. We parked right next to the paddock with the donkeys. In the evening, Jürgen stopped by with a wheelbarrow full of wood for the fire pit. We’ll be back!

What a beautiful place! Jürgen welcomed us warmly right away and invited us to feel “right at home.” We enjoyed the peace, the open space, and nature to the fullest. Ruth and Jürgen are absolutely wonderful, warm-hearted hosts. The three charming donkeys delighted us in the evenings and mornings with their grazing presence in the neighboring pasture. Every now and then, the peacock made its presence known. Our daughter felt so at home, and we are grateful to have spent such a lovely time with Ruth and Jürgen. We were there for just one night, but our energy tanks are full and our hearts are full as well. Thank you so much, Ruth and Jürgen, for sharing this beautiful little corner of the world with us.
