We are a third-generation horse boarding facility.
We offer a dream spot for camping just outside the facility. The farm itself is in a rural location and lies directly adjacent to the Lüneburg Heath Nature Reserve.
Hiking trails run right alongside the farm grounds. In the town itself, there are inns and a small supermarket. Handeloh also has a train station.
Please note: We have electricity on the farm grounds. There are two barns here with electrical hookups. The campsite with a sunset view is self-sufficient, close to nature, and without electricity or running water; running water is available at our house. The restroom is 300 meters away from the horse pasture area.

A very quiet and relaxing location. Stunning sunsets and starry skies. A very kind and helpful host. Thank you so much for the wonderful time!
We stayed for two nights with our car and rooftop tent at Martina’s great campsite. You’re truly all to yourself there and have a great view of the pastures. The bathroom is relatively far away due to its distance from the farm, but since we had our bikes with us, it wasn’t a problem for us. The bathroom was accessible to us at all times and very clean. Martina was also super friendly and gave us a very warm welcome. We’ll definitely be back!
We traveled from Hamburg for one night and found exactly what we were looking for. The campsite is idyllically located right next to horse paddocks and the forest, and it’s quiet. Martina is a very pleasant host, and the bathroom was clean. It’s about a 5-minute walk from the campsite.
After a very friendly initial exchange via message, we were greeted on site with warmth and ease. The campsite is idyllic and located a short distance from the house and stables. On the paths between the campsite and the house with its guest bathroom, we had pleasant encounters with people, dogs, and, of course, horses. :-) We really enjoyed our stay.
A relaxed and peaceful stay—the secluded, nature-filled spot was really lovely, even for a scaredy-cat like me ;-)
