We are a third-generation horse boarding facility.
We offer a dream spot for camping just outside the facility. The farm itself is in a rural location and lies directly adjacent to the Lüneburg Heath Nature Reserve.
Hiking trails run right alongside the farm grounds. In the town itself, there are inns and a small supermarket. Handeloh also has a train station.
Please note: We have electricity on the farm grounds. There are two barns here with electrical hookups. The campsite with a sunset view is self-sufficient, close to nature, and without electricity or running water; running water is available at our house. The restroom is 300 meters away from the horse pasture area.

A really nice campsite. Everything was so easy. We'd love to come back.
Luckily, we had the place all to ourselves, so it was nice and quiet and private (though I imagine it would get pretty crowded and lively with several vehicles). It’s a very scenic spot, and you could also take a shower and use the restroom.
It's a beautiful spot right next to the horse pastures, and you can enjoy some peace and quiet all to yourself. We were lucky enough to experience two beautiful sunsets. Thanks to Martina for the lovely spot and her helpfulness 😊
We had a wonderful night camping at the horse farm and felt right at home from the very beginning. The special atmosphere created by the horses and nature makes this place truly unique. It was especially lovely to wind down the evening in this idyllic setting and watch the horses—a truly special experience. The hosts were incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful. You can tell right away that they put a lot of heart and soul into the farm. For anyone who loves nature, animals, and a little break from everyday life, we can wholeheartedly recommend staying here. We’d come back anytime! 🐴⛺️🌿
Very friendly host. They were there to show us around, and we were all alone with our roof tent in front of a horse paddock. We’d love to come back anytime! :)
