  Very friendly, easygoing host. We felt right at home and were spoiled for choice when picking a spot on the huge meadow. We chose the spot by the apple tree, with a view of the sheep, surrounded by cute chickens and roosters.

  A lovely, shady spot—the perfect starting point for long bike rides through the Lüneburg Heath. Every now and then, the chickens would stop by.

  I was given a very warm welcome, even though it was already quite late. There was plenty of space for my tent. There weren’t any cars there either. You sleep right next to a road, but it was quiet at night. There’s no restroom, so you have to find a spot and hope that neither a passing car nor the neighbors see you. Of course, campers with their own restroom don’t have that problem. I think the price of €25 is too much for what you get.

  Absolutely beautiful place on a meadow. There was also shade, which we were very pleased about. Very friendly hosts who gave good tips for the heath. That helped us a lot. We would love to come back!
