Experience unforgettable moments in our private natural paradise in the heart of the Palatinate Forest. Here you can book the entire upper lake exclusively for yourselves! Our idyllic lake in a secluded location offers crystal-clear water and absolute tranquility—far away from traffic noise and hustle and bustle. Ideal for groups of friends, relaxed bachelor parties, private fishing trips, or anyone who wants to escape everyday life and simply unwind. You will have the upper lake and its shores all to yourselves – including your own jetty and a small "lagoon" with access to the water via large sandstone steps.
Campsite right on the water: For a particularly close-to-nature experience, you can pitch your tents DIRECTLY on the water. To keep the wild natural feeling there exactly as it is, you cannot drive your car into this area. The absolute camping idyll!
Motorhomes/campervans: If any of you are arriving by camper and would prefer to sleep there, that's no problem at all. You can simply park in our parking lot. Please note that this parking lot may also be used by our other guests – but the upper lake is exclusively yours!
Special highlights: Sauna: Treat yourself to pure relaxation in our sauna right by the lake – including a panoramic window with a view of the water! Please book in advance so we can prepare everything for you. Hot tub: Our small, wood-fired hot tub is idyllically located on a mini island in the middle of your lake – ideal for two people. Perfect for diving in, relaxing, and counting stars. And yes: a floating drink holder is of course also included. 😉 *Tip for groups*: Alternatively, we also have a large hot tub for up to 6 people. Just ask us about the options! Activities: Whether swimming, undisturbed fishing, or stand-up paddling – your private lake offers a wide range of possibilities. We are happy to provide a SUP board on request.

Toilet
An eco-friendly composting toilet is available for your use at any time.
Dogs welcome
Your four-legged friend is very welcome here! Please keep them on a leash on the premises and dispose of any waste. Our lake is a fishing spot with sensitive vegetation, fish, and crabs that breed in the shallow water. Therefore, dogs are unfortunately not allowed in the water. However, there is a small pond nearby where this is possible.
Cats welcome
Your furry friend is very welcome here! Please keep them on a leash on the premises and dispose of any waste. Our lake is a fishing spot with sensitive vegetation, fish, and crayfish that breed in the shallow water.
Electricity
We provide access to electricity at the parking lot. If you need it, just let us know. There is a small surcharge for its use.
Shower
We do not have a traditional shower, but there is a cold water shower head available for your refreshment in the parking lot.
Water
You can fill up with fresh water at any time. Please note that this water is not suitable for drinking.
Cell phone reception
Cell phone reception varies depending on the provider—sometimes it's better, sometimes worse. Enjoy the opportunity to switch off for a while!
Campfire allowed
Open fires are prohibited in the Palatinate Forest. However, we have set up a designated area with a fire pit between the two lakes for your use. Simply leave the ashes in the pit at the end of your visit and we will dispose of them for you.
Barbecue allowed
Barbecuing is permitted on our premises! Please use a gas grill to protect the forest. The only exception is if you barbecue directly above our fire pit.
WiFi
If you need Wi-Fi, you can log in to our network in the courtyard. Just ask us!
Around the accommodation
Farm shop
We don't have a farm shop, but in summer there is a refrigerator with delicious cold drinks at your disposal. Whether you fancy a shandy, cola beer, beer, cola, redcurrant juice spritzer, apple juice spritzer, or Mezzomix – you'll find the perfect refreshment here!
Sauna
If you would like to use our sauna, please let us know in advance so that we can prepare everything for you.

Watching wildlife
In our crystal-clear water, you can observe impressive schools of fish, while ducks and frogs visibly enjoy themselves here. At dusk, the forest's wildlife often comes out to play—with a little luck, you might spot deer, foxes, or even wild boars.
Kayaking, canoeing
Would you like to explore our little lake from the water? We have a boat that you are welcome to use. Just get in touch with us and enjoy a relaxing trip on the water!
Surfing
We have a SUP (stand-up paddle board) that you are welcome to use. Just let us know if you feel like paddling across the lake!
MTB
The Palatinate Forest is a paradise for mountain bikers, with numerous routes and trails. Nearby, you will also find the Trippstadt MTB Park, which offers exciting challenges for all skill levels.

The region is famous for its excellent wines! Visit places such as Wachenheim, Deidesheim, or Bad Dürkheim and discover renowned wineries and unforgettable wine tastings.

Nearby, you will find numerous natural climbing rocks such as Trifels, Höllenfelsen, Schafsfelsen, Honigfelsen, and Strackfelsen—perfect destinations for climbing enthusiasts.
