Experience unforgettable moments in our private natural paradise in the heart of the Palatinate Forest. Our small, idyllic lake in a secluded location offers crystal-clear water and absolute tranquility—far away from traffic noise and the hustle and bustle.
*The campsite:*
This spot is truly something special. You’ll park your van, camper, or even pitch your tent right on the upper lake, directly by the water with an unobstructed view of the lake. Not a single other car in sight—you’ll have plenty of space all to yourselves. Just you and nature. Birds are chirping, the sun is glistening on the water... simply wonderful! If you book our large hot tub, you can practically jump straight from your rooftop tent into the warm water. Our sauna is also just about 15 meters away. 🏕️

--> Hot tubs: We have two wood-fired hot tubs for you. Our large hot tub (for up to 6 people) is right next to your campsite on the shore. Alternatively, there’s our two-person hot tub, idyllically situated on a mini-island in the middle of the lake—complete with a floating drink holder! 😉 Both are perfect for unwinding, relaxing, and stargazing. ✨🛀

Treat yourself to pure relaxation in our wood-fired sauna, all to yourself right on the lake shore! Enjoy the magnificent view of the water while you sweat, then cool off properly: large stone steps lead you to a refreshing dip right at the spring’s outlet into the lake. True natural wellness! 🌲🛀

Whether swimming, fishing, or stand-up paddling—our lake offers a wide range of possibilities. We’re happy to provide a SUP board upon request.

Toilet
An eco-friendly composting toilet is available for your use at any time.
Dogs welcome
Your four-legged friend is very welcome here! Please keep them on a leash while on the premises and clean up after them. Our lake is a fishing area with sensitive vegetation, as well as fish and crayfish that breed in the shallow water. Therefore, dogs are unfortunately not allowed in the water. However, there is a small pond nearby where this is permitted.
Cats welcome
Your furry friend is more than welcome here! Please keep
them on a leash while on the premises and clean up after them.
Our lake is a fishing area with delicate vegetation, as well as fish
and crayfish that breed in the shallow water.
Electricity
We provide access to electricity at the parking lot. If you need it, just let us know. There is a small additional charge for its use.
Shower
We don't have a traditional shower, but there is a cold-water showerhead in the parking lot for you to use to freshen up.
Water
You can fill up with fresh water here at any time. Please note that this is not drinking water.
Cell phone reception
Cell phone reception varies depending on the carrier—sometimes it’s better, sometimes it’s worse. Take this opportunity to unplug for a bit!
Barbecue allowed
Barbecuing is allowed here—please use a gas grill. This helps keep the area safe and protects the environment.
WiFi
If you need Wi-Fi, you can connect to our network in the courtyard. Just let us know!

We don’t have a farm stand, but in the summer we have a fridge stocked with delicious cold drinks. Whether you’re in the mood for shandy, cola beer, beer, cola, red currant spritzer, apple juice spritzer, or Mezzomix—you’ll find the perfect refreshment here!
Sauna
Sauna with a lake view! Pure relaxation in our wood-fired sauna with a stunning view! Then take a refreshing dip right in the lake. True natural wellness! 🌲🛀
Hot tub
An idyllic hot tub on a tiny island in the middle of the lake. Stargazing from here is an unforgettable experience! Feel free to contact us!

We have a SUP (stand-up paddleboard) that you're welcome to use.

Just a few minutes away is the Pfälzerwald Golf Course—the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing round of golf surrounded by beautiful nature. After your round, be sure to stop by Restaurant Palatina, which is renowned for its excellent cuisine.
MTB
The Palatinate Forest is a paradise for mountain bikers, with numerous routes and trails. Nearby, you’ll also find the Trippstadt MTB Park, which offers exciting challenges for riders of all skill levels.

In our crystal-clear water, you can watch impressive schools of fish, while ducks and frogs clearly feel right at home here. At dusk, the forest’s wildlife often makes an appearance—with a little luck, you might spot deer, foxes, or even wild boars.

The region is famous for its excellent wines! Visit places like Wachenheim, Deidesheim, or Bad Dürkheim and discover renowned wineries and unforgettable wine tastings.
Playing by the water

Nearby, you’ll find numerous natural climbing rocks such as the Trifels, the Höllenfelsen, the Schafsfelsen, the Honigfelsen, and the Strackfelsen—perfect destinations for climbing enthusiasts. If you just want to do a little bouldering, you can even try it right here on our grounds by the water. Please note that you do so at your own risk.

This exclusive spot is an absolute dream! You really couldn’t ask for a more beautiful spot. Here, you have the upper lake all to yourself. We also treated ourselves to the large hot tub (located right next to the campsite). It was the perfect way to cap off a wonderful day. Nikolas is a wonderful host who really goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. He also recommended a walk to the Grauhandfelsen and told us the story of the ghost of Grauer Hans. We’ll definitely be back!
