All in all, a nice, secluded spot—good for a one-night stay—and just a short walk to the old town of Dinkelsbühl. There are restrooms and a shower, but don't expect too much.
Unfortunately, we couldn't reach Georg despite several calls and messages. We only found the site thanks to the small sign on the rock pointing toward the large meadow. The site, as well as the restroom and shower, were very run-down. In addition, the electricity wasn't working either.
Everything worked out well. The campground is beautiful and the host is friendly. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the campground isn't really suitable for a tent, since you can hear the highway surprisingly clearly.
Great place for a stopover. Unbeatable at €8, including water and restroom access.
The site has potential, but unfortunately it's a bit messy and the restrooms are dirty. Trash was being stored in the "Backhäuschen." Too bad. But the owner was very nice and often stopped by to check if everything was okay.
