We stayed here for one night and, for the most part, really enjoyed it. It was great to have access to electricity and a bathroom with a sink—even if it was quite outdated. It was nice to watch the sheep, horse, and pony. It’s a shame the grounds could use a bit more upkeep, but that’s probably just too much work given the thousands of nooks and crannies there are to explore. We were bothered by the lack of designated spots, especially since a caravan was parked right in the middle of the path. The highway noise didn’t bother us at night. Generally recommended for one night.
You should bring a long extension cord for power. Power outages can occasionally occur in damp weather. The restroom facilities are fairly basic—but that’s unlikely to bother experienced campers. Overall, everything is simple but adequate. Thanks to its convenient location near the A7, we’d still come back.
This was our second visit, and for gardening enthusiasts, the place is a paradise. Thank you so much, Georg, for letting us share this experience with you again.
Our stay was very relaxed and hassle-free—a lovely spot surrounded by greenery. It’s only a few kilometers by bike to Dinkelsbühl. In the campervan, we didn’t hear any highway noise at all, unlike what some people have mentioned here… We really enjoyed it 👌🏻
