  We were lucky—even though the other campsite was also occupied—to have the hot tub all to ourselves, since the other couple was in Dinkelsbühl all afternoon. The hot tub was great! It took about two hours to heat up, but then we made the most of it. There’s a great farm shop about 1 to 2 km away, and Dinkelsbühl is just around the corner. Too bad the sauna was destroyed by previous campers; we would have loved to use that, too. It’s also a shame that the pond terrace was closed. We’d love to come back when the sauna and terrace are up and running again :)

  We had a wonderful stay all around and highly recommend this place! ✨ We were here for 4 days with 6 children, 3 dogs, 3 adults, three tents, a trailer, and an awning, and booked both available campsites. The grounds are spacious, close to nature, and wonderfully quiet—just the thing for escaping the daily grind and enjoying the outdoors. Even after four days, we would have loved to stay longer. 🌳🌲 It was especially convenient that electricity was available right at the campsite. This made our stay very comfortable. A special highlight is the paved terrace with a hot tub and sauna. Even though the sauna is currently out of order and being repaired, this area is something very special and greatly enhances the stay. From here, we were able to watch stunning sunsets every evening. 🧖‍♀️ In addition, a fire pit invites you to enjoy cozy evenings—whether to warm up on cooler nights or to bake bread on a stick with the kids.🔥 We were also particularly impressed by the service provided by our host, Tim: Every afternoon or evening, we could easily place a bakery order for the next morning via text message. We used this great service daily throughout our entire stay and really appreciated it. 🥖🍞 There is also a well-maintained dry toilet on site, which had been cleaned upon our arrival. 🚽🧻 Hand sanitizer and plenty of toilet paper were also provided. Additionally, there are even plans to install a permanent toilet in the future. For dog owners, the site is a real dream: You can set off on long walks right from the campsite without having to walk through a town first. The surroundings are beautiful and invite you to explore and relax. 🐶 Tim and his family are extremely friendly, helpful, and always approachable without being intrusive. You feel welcome and in good hands. All of us—kids, adults, and dogs—loved it. We thoroughly enjoyed our four days here and will definitely be back!
