The small, quiet town where we are located is situated along the A7 in beautiful Middle Franconia, between Rothenburg ob der Tauber and Dinkelsbühl.

If you’d rather enjoy the sunset on a green meadow under the fruit trees and don’t mind sharing your campsite with the farm chickens, then you’ve come to the right place!
Upon request, for an additional fee, I’ll put together a care package for you featuring (mostly) regional products, including breakfast eggs from our happy chickens🍳🥓🥨🍫🍻🍷🍪🧀 🍅 🍎
P.S. We’re right out in the countryside here, which means you might see tractors driving by, and the meadow might be mowed and chopped up late into the night 😀😅

Having escaped the crowded Brombachsee, we found a little paradise here behind the chicken coop. The site has been lovingly maintained, and even though it’s really meant for smaller vehicles, we proved that you can park comfortably here even with a 7-meter-long RV. Unfortunately, the meadow hadn’t been mowed (a small path to the stream would have sufficed), so we stayed put in the extreme heat, cooling off occasionally at our outdoor shower. The highway is within sight, and of course you can hear it, but that didn’t bother us. All in all, we felt very comfortable. We’d love to come back.
The perfect stop on my bike tour! I received a super warm welcome from the host’s parents, even though the host wasn’t there himself. Because of the wind, they even let me sleep in the garden shed. The regional snack basket was really delicious, and the two of them took such good care of everything. You can tell right away that guests are welcome here. Thank you so much for the great stay—I highly recommend it! 🚴♂️😊
A super easygoing and warm welcome. Great spot with plenty of space for the dogs to run around on a huge meadow where they can really let off steam. Beautiful hiking trails nearby. The snack pack is a must! Perfect for both meat-eaters and vegetarians. The beer from the private brewery—a smooth and brilliant brew! You make us feel like friends right away—thanks for this stay. We’ll see you again. Warm regards from the folks from Augsburg and the two Appenzellers. We felt right at home with you.
A very idyllic pitch with a very friendly family. Mega sunset and a wide view of the countryside. Chickens were very amusing but by no means annoying, eggs very tasty. All in all, we felt very comfortable and will be back. And the snack basket was very tasty with lots of regional products, we really enjoyed it. And thank you for the chocolate ☺️
