Hof Wümmetal is located in the Wümmeniederung between Hamburg and Bremen. Galloway cattle live here in year-round grazing, summer and winter under the open sky directly on the farm. Canoe rental for a trip on the Wümme is available in the vicinity.
The Lüneburg Heath can be reached in about 20 minutes by car. The Tister Bauernmoor (10 minutes by car) is unique with 570 hectares of nature conservation and its biodiversity, the large crane population and is known beyond the borders of the country. In addition, there are a variety of outdoor pools and natural pools in the area.
