The parking spot is located in Glienitz and is for self-sufficient campervans/vans only!
Our small village is situated between Hitzacker and Bleckede.
Here, you can unwind and slow down.
On clear nights, you’ll experience a starry sky here that’s rarely seen elsewhere.

Check-in by arrangement, as the garden gate is locked.
Nearest shopping in Neu Darchau (5 km – note opening hours!) and in Hitzacker (10 km – also open Sundays from April to October). Restaurant/snack bar 4 km.

The pitch is located on our meadow with a view of the Elbe. Chocks may be required.

Dogs welcome
Dogs are welcome if they are socially acceptable and stay on a lead at the pitch. Your pets must please do their "business" outside the property (don't forget dog waste bags). If you take your dog to the Elbe, please keep it on a lead (all year round). We are located in the biosphere reserve and the animals living here should not be disturbed. Thank you for your understanding!

Electricity connection is available. If required, please pay 5€/day in cash on site.
Water
We are happy to provide water for refilling by arrangement. We would be pleased to receive a small donation €.

Fenced
The property is fenced in and therefore not accessible to strangers. Bicycles and camping equipment can therefore remain set up without any problems.

Arrival from 14:00 / departure until 11:30 Arrival by arrangement, as the garden gate is locked. Nearest shopping facilities in Neu Darchau (5km - note opening hours!) and in Hitzacker (10km - April to October also open on Sundays). Restaurant/snack bar 4km. Bakery in Neu Darchau 5km.

Fishing
Fishing on the Elbe is allowed. A fishing license from the local fishing club Frühauf - Glienitz-Drethem e.V. is mandatory. You can get the license on site.

"Raft trips" from Neu Darchau or Hitzacker (sofa raft). "Kniepenberg observation tower". "Kulturelle Landpartie" annually from Ascension Day to Whitsun. "Summer music days" in Hitzacker. "Biosphaerium Elbtalaue" in Bleckede. Ship's hoist in Scharnebeck. Elbe bridge Dömitz "Skywalk". "Archaeological center" in Hitzacker. Hitzacker vineyard. "Rundlingsdörfer" villages in Wendland. "Michaelshof Sammatz" (ark farm, café, park with lake). "Red Rose City" Lüneburg... These were just a few ideas for leisure activities. Or: "Just do nothing" and "let your mind wander"...

The trails in the surrounding area invite you to go mountain biking.

You live on the Elbe cycle path. There are great trails. Maps are available. Just talk to us about it.
Wine tasting
In Hitzacker (10km) at WEINKOST BERGMANN (organic wine shop and wine bistro).
Watching wildlife
You live "door to door with beaver, stork and co. Have open eyes and you will discover some animals.
Kayaking, canoeing
You can put your paddle boat directly into the Elbe at our place (please note the current). You can also book a tour at ALBIA KANU on site.
Horse riding
In Wietzetze (3km) there is an equestrian center with indoor and outdoor riding arena.
Swimming
We do not recommend swimming in the Elbe because it can be dangerous. Ultimately, however, everyone can decide for themselves.
Beach vacation
Take a look at our photos. Depending on the water level of the Elbe, beautiful sandy beaches await you.
Hiking
With us you can hike wonderfully through the Elbe heights. Maps are available. Just ask us about it.

The Elbe is on the doorstep and when the water level of the Elbe is right, beautiful sandy beaches await you. We will gladly give you tips.

A great place with a view of the Elbe! We had a nice evening with Uta and her husband at the campfire, very nice place + very nice family, we will be back.
Wonderful place and very nice hosts. I can only recommend it. Luckily we had a VW as a camper van 😉.
