Experience freedom on a historic former farmstead in the heart of the Wendland region near Dannenberg. We offer you an idyllic campsite on a vast 12,000-square-meter property for shared use. You’ll find a spacious open area with many old trees and flexible options for setting up your tent or camper.
Important note regarding the outbuilding: Please note that the small half-timbered house on the property is not included in the price for this listing and will remain locked to you. If you absolutely wish to book the campsite in combination with this cottage as a fully equipped living space with a kitchen, stove, and sofa, please use our separate combo listing for this farmstead: https://hinterland.camp/locations/5026
However, access to the outdoor toilet and water connection is, of course, exactly the same for all guests.
About the on-site amenities: You have access to fresh water for drinking and washing, as well as a fully functional outdoor toilet that’s ready for use at any time. A warm outdoor shower is also fully operational for your use. The electrical infrastructure on the property is in place, though dedicated power connections directly to vehicles are not yet available. For outdoor living, you can enjoy long evenings at the enclosed fire pit; firewood is provided. Waste disposal for compost, recyclables, glass, and combustible waste is provided, and normal dishwater and laundry water can also be disposed of on-site.
The farm offers a wonderful atmosphere for unwinding under ancient oak trees. It’s also perfect for long-term campers! Depending on the season, nature invites you to snack: Later in the year, there are walnuts, hazelnuts, sweet corn, sunflowers, apples, cherries, sloes, plums, mulberries, and elderberries. Children and animals are very welcome here; we simply ask that you keep pets in the outdoor area. Thanks to the fully equipped facilities on-site, you can arrive on any day with complete flexibility. Come on by—we look forward to seeing you!
