In the middle of the village and yet remote.
In the second row, you will find an idyllic spot surrounded by greenery. The ideal starting point for hikes. A small barbecue hut with terrace invites you to linger. Here you can let your gaze wander over the fields in peace and quiet and relax from everyday life.
There is a fireplace, a barbecue and on rainy or chilly days, the stove in the hut invites you to warm up.
Nearby you will find the "Höhlen- und Schluchtensteig" dream trail.
There is a 24-hour fresh food vending machine at the community center, where you can find eggs, pasta, some meat and a few dairy products if your supplies run low.
Excursion tips:
Interested volcanologists will find several excursion destinations within a radius of 10 km. In Andernach you will find the highest cold-water geyser in the world, rounded off by a short boat trip there and the nearby geyser center.
In Mendig you will find the Lava Dome, where you can see exciting insights into the world of volcanoes and the lava cellar.
Also in the surrounding area: Olbrück Castle, Nürburgring, Vulkanexpress, Laacher See, Riedener Waldsee, Bad Breisig thermal baths

A beautiful, idyllic meadow in a small village with views of meadows and fields. It’s in a very quiet location, so nothing disturbs your sleep. There’s even a cute little cabin with a stove on the property. Unfortunately, we didn’t have any firewood with us; otherwise, we would have loved to warm up here after a cold, wet day. We were all alone on the meadow at this time of year, and our dog enjoyed it too. I highly recommend it. 😀👍🏻
