Welcome to our little world, which we are happy to share with you. You will spend your stay on the edge of the Westerwald Nature Park, in a beautiful and idyllic location on a hill in a valley with a river, surrounded by forests; where foxes and rabbits say good night to each other.

We live on a small hill surrounded by forests. Due to the low light pollution, you can see beautiful starry skies here. Our campsite is perfect for couples and friends who want to avoid the hustle and bustle of a campground, are looking for a bit of wilderness, and don't want to sacrifice comfort. !! In another ad, there is also the option of a campsite for families. !!

The pitches are freely accessible to wild animals such as deer and foxes, making sunrises and sunsets an even more beautiful experience. Depending on where you want to park, it is 100-15 meters from the pitch meadow to the sanitary area and the kitchen.

These are located within our fenced private grounds. There is also a small clearing (seen in the last five photos) where you can park in our nearby woods. Please note: we cannot provide electricity here. The toilet and kitchen are about 200 m away.

There you will find a small bathroom with shower and toilet, a simple kitchen with a small gas stove, seating, and a caravan, all in retro style. The complex is completely covered, keeping you dry even in bad weather. At the parking space, you will find a beer table and bench set and an old stable shelter.

Good to know: Please bring your own towels, soap, etc. A simple power connection to your camper can be provided on request (for a small fee). For hot water, there is a small boiler that has to heat the water repeatedly as needed. You are welcome to borrow a fire pit and wood for a fee.

You are staying in our home and surrounded by nature, and we ask you to be mindful and respectful. For your games and fun, please use the parking area, the woods, or the other surrounding meadows, but not our garden. We also have a dog (who loves to be petted;) and children living here. If you are afraid of dogs or would prefer a child-free zone, staying with us is probably not a good idea. Depending on the weather, the meadow may become too soft, in which case you will have to use our parking lot on the forest path. From there, it is about 100 m to the toilet and other facilities. It is best to contact us in case of heavy rain before you come.

When you leave, please take your trash/cigarette butts with you and leave everything clean (including the toilet and other facilities) and as you found it.

At night, small visitors such as raccoons like to come by, so please do not leave any food/trash lying around and keep the kitchen door closed. Please do not have parties or use the toilet on the meadow or in the forest. Arrival by arrangement. Please depart by 12 noon. If you would like to stay longer than three nights, please contact me and you will receive a discount.

Great location. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Everything is spotless. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, pots, dishes, cutlery, etc. It’s very well located; you can hardly hear the street at all (except maybe the occasional motorcycle), and you can barely hear the nearby campground either, since there’s a small sloping wooded area in between. Instead, after a short walk, you can reach a beautiful wide, flat river (the Wied). Right from the property, there’s a beautiful view of the local mountain and the hills in the background. Higher vantage points with panoramic views are easily accessible on foot.

A gorgeous campsite hosted by a lovely family. The facilities are top notch e.g. the associated bathroom which I found to be decently sized, immaculately clean and also kitchenette and camper (which can be used if the weather is cold). Good walking trails nearby and also restaurants a short drive away. My only gripe is I think the price is a bit on the high side. The property and hosts are lovely, but I have stayed at other higher end campsites which are roughly half the price.
