  Spacious site, clean restrooms, and a central power hookup. We were able to choose our own spot. Although it’s right next to a road, it didn’t bother us since it isn’t very busy. A good starting point for bike rides. The only minor criticism is the grass on the site. It could have been a little shorter—it was pretty overgrown. Still, I’d definitely recommend it.

  We had a really wonderful stay and can absolutely recommend this campsite. We also got to meet Burkhardt briefly—a very nice and friendly host. The site itself was great. The only minor criticism: The grass could have been mowed once before we arrived, as it was already quite tall. Also, there’s a road right next to the site, which unfortunately causes some traffic noise. At times, there was also a faint odor from the neighboring chicken coop, though that was certainly not unusual given the extremely hot temperatures. Nevertheless, we really enjoyed our stay. Because of the road, we’re giving it 4 out of 5 stars—otherwise, everything was truly top-notch!

  The host was nice; it would have been nice if the lawn had been mowed. It was nice that there was a bathroom. The street was very close by, but it was very quiet at night.

  We had a wonderful, peaceful two days there. Everything was just as described. The restroom trailer was spotless, and the electricity and water worked perfectly. The highway right next door isn't very busy at night, so we were still able to sleep well. We'd love to come back! :)
