…to avoid crowded parking lots or campgrounds during Easter, THIS is the perfect spot!!! A wonderful sense of peace in the middle of nowhere! We’d definitely come back anytime! The spot was exactly as described. Easy communication with the unassuming host via “Hinterland Chat,” so we can’t really say anything about him because we didn’t get to meet him. (He must be nice, otherwise he wouldn’t be offering this spot…🤣)

Booking was easy. The place is great. We were only there for one night, but the impression was very positive. Unfortunately, you could hear all the operating noise, but the provider can't help that and I dismiss it as a momentary recording, it may be that most of the time is quiet and we were just a bit unlucky. We definitely recommend the place.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. The camping giant Obelink is not far away. Here you can combine the useful with the beautiful. Overall very nice and relaxing.

The pitch was easy to find and you have a beautiful view of the surrounding area. You can enjoy the sunset in the evening. The place is relaxing and quiet.

We stayed with Christoph for one night to test our new camper. Christoph immediately helped us out with minor problems with the fresh water and provided us with water and watering cans. The site is really beautiful and you have it all to yourself. We will definitely be back!

Super nice meadow, really in the middle of nowhere. Christoph stopped by briefly when we arrived, very nice chat. Only one person with a dog came by during the day, otherwise quiet. Wonderful! We will definitely be back.

You drive slowly across the yard onto a private road and find yourself alone on a large meadow. Despite the rain, the surface was firm and easy to ride on. Super relaxing and quiet. On Sunday we went shopping in the Netherlands. We would love to come back.

Quiet location, lots of space in a secluded location, very nice, friendly contact with Julia, Christoph himself was away that weekend, but the email correspondence with him was also absolutely uncomplicated as part of the booking. It was an ideal place for us to spread out and test all our equipment. If you're staying more nights, it definitely makes sense to pack bikes so that you can cycle to nearby Winterswijk/NL, for example. Super stand-alone pitch, our grandchildren also really liked it - which is particularly important. Very nice host who came to see us at the pitch. We will be back soon with two more grandchildren for a night in the countryside.

Many thanks again to Christoph, it was really very nice! A cyclist came by once and a tractor once. Apart from that, we were really on our own :D The host was very relaxed and the sunset was hard to beat!

The contact with Christoph in advance was very nice and informative. The stay was also very nice. I received a friendly welcome, was able to fill up with water and was then really alone on the meadow (with the exception of three passing cyclists) for the whole weekend. The surroundings are also very pleasant, there are lots of paths to walk on including a small lake nearby.

We ended up on Christoph's beautiful meadow at very short notice. The place is really relaxing and communication with him was super easy. It was nice that he came by briefly, but didn't force himself on us. We would love to come back.

This was our second time here and certainly not the last. It's a wonderful place to relax. Always happy to come back.

Just like last time, simply a dream. The name of the campsite says it all. Quiet, beautiful and relaxing. You could also play with the dog on the meadow and let the sun shine on your fur. Dreamlike!

Christoph is very nice. Information and answers always promptly👍. The meadow was freshly mowed. The surrounding area has a lot to offer for bike tours and hikes. The meadow is very quiet and you can watch sunrises and sunsets. It was wonderfully relaxing.

The meadow is very nice and perfect for camping. The communication with Christoph was also flawless.

Just get out and switch off, that you can with Christoph on the meadow in nowhere. Immediately after booking, Christoph sent us a detailed description of how to find the meadow. When we arrived, he came around briefly to greet us and give us a few tips about the place. The meadow is very large and you really feel alone in the middle of nowhere. The houses nearby can only be seen through the trees. Our dog enjoyed it as much as we did. He could romp what the stuff holds. Walks through the fields and forests, thereby the one or other geocache with a smiley provided was also possible. We will definitely come back when we want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city again!

We were for about 2 weeks on the large meadow and have enjoyed this time. You stand there wonderfully free and have a great view over the fields. It is very quiet and you can beautifully observe the nature and landscape. Christoph and his wife are sympathetic and helpful hosts :-) We will definitely come again.

That was a deeply relaxed, almost lonely weekend on a quiet meadow. Christoph came by right after arrival and asked if everything was okay. Cycling is a dream here in the area; hiking is also possible, if you do not have to have mountains for it :-) The nearby Burlo-Vardingholter Venn is worth a trip! I will definitely come back again.

Christoph is a super sympathetic and helpful host. We got stuck on Christoph's great meadow due to the bad weather the day before. Without batting an eye, he pulled us out with his wheel loader and found us a new spot on his farm. Beautiful, green and quiet place to unwind. We will surely come back again. :-)

We were received very friendly and relaxed, and had a huge meadow to ourselves. Like free standing, only legal. The next time we take then also our bikes, the environment is perfect for cycling.

Were 1 night on site. Super nice host and beautiful place with herlichen sunset and sunrise. Also the tip with the hike through the bog was really great. Come again with pleasure.

Absolute vacation feeling. The right place if you want to leave everything behind for a weekend. Christoph has also briefly stopped by and asked if everything is ok. All in all a place where you like to be. Absolutely quiet, perfect sunset and a starry sky that you do not know from the city. 👍 We will definitely come again😉

Christoph convinces with his location in all directions. Great pitch (a whole meadow just for us - great idea from our host to offer the meadow only as a single pitch). The place is 100% as described and it is just great there. We had a very nice quiet few days. Christoph is a perfect host and we will certainly come again. The meadow provided is super large, firm and level, so perfect. It was very quiet and we slept super. This is exactly how a place must be.

We had a totally beautiful and quiet time on Christophs meadow :) completely undisturbed, the whole weekend no people, but only a few rabbits seen. Still had the bikes with us, in 20 min we were at the very beautiful Pröbsting Lake, where there is a lot to discover and do. Thank you very much, we will be happy to come back again!

Again and again with pleasure! In the surrounding area you can bike very well and to Holland it is only a stone's throw. To Borken it is also not far by ebike. The stay has been very worthwhile for us and remains in good memory!!!

That was a great stay with Christoph! Super nice host, kids were allowed on the private "soccer field", the stand in the middle of nowhere a dream :) Even if it was (unfortunately) only for one night, as said the youngest: "It already feels like a week!" A top stopover to the sea, we can only recommend and come back for sure!

It was very nice on Christoph's meadow, very quiet and in the middle of nature. Because it had rained a lot, we did not dare to go further into the meadow, but still we were in the green and could watch pheasants. We will come again!

Wonderful area. In the middle of the meadow you have continuous sun from sunrise to sunset, weather permitting. If you need peace and quiet to relax (as we did), this is the place for you. Very, very friendly host. A person who thinks in a solution-oriented way. If all people were like that, problems/challenges would be solved quickly. We can only recommend this host and his pitch. If you enjoy nature and tranquility, this is the place for you. For cycling it is also a good address. We will definitely come back again.

The stay at Christoph's meadow was excellent!!! You are in the middle of nature and undisturbed. We have used the place as a stopover on the way to the North Sea. But it is certainly also suitable to explore the Münsterland from there! Since we were very limited in time, arrived late and left early, we had only telephone contact with Christoph. He is super nice and everything was totally uncomplicated!!! We are very happy to come back with a little more time and look forward to meeting Christoph in person then!!!
