Cute campsite on small fruit meadow

Between moor and heath in the Nienburger Land lies our Heidhorst, a small remnant farm of 2.4 hectares in solitary location with horses, a donkey, dogs, sheep, goats, happy pigs and chickens, geese, ducks and cats.

If you like nature and animals around you, we will be glad to welcome you as our guests. We also welcome bikers and trail riders.

Nestled between a field, horse run and vegetable garden, you can watch fox and rabbit say good night to each other in the morning and evening, watch bats on the prowl, look at the stars or watch the horses dozing.

During the day, our running ducks are all over the place and our silkie chickens are busy frolicking.

Annabelle, the barn cat, may be saying "hello" and the kite is making his rounds over the pasture hoping to snag a mice.

Whether you just want to enjoy the tranquility of country life and the beautiful nature or you want to make some interesting excursions, with us everyone will get his money's worth.

There are tours to the nearby moor with the exhibition "Mora", the moor corpse that was found here and a ride on the moor train. We can also recommend a visit to the crane observation tower in the neighboring village or to the landscape lake in Uchte.

With a little luck, you can even watch the cranes longingly in spring and autumn during their flight over our farm.

The Steinhuder Meer or the Dümmer See (about 30 km away) invite you to go pedal boating, swimming or walking.

During an adventure day in the dinosaur park Münchehagen (approx. 20 km away) or in the natural swimming pool Kirchdorf (approx. 8 km away) there will certainly be no boredom.

If possible, you can get fresh, farm eggs from happy chickens.

Our large fireplace with swivel grill is available to you by arrangement.

Also, if you are interested in our farm and its animal co-inhabitants, we will gladly take you on a tour of the farm - cuddle factor guaranteed.

Everything can, nothing must.

It is just as well if you want to be completely self-sufficient and have your peace and quiet.

Various places on and around our farm invite you to linger: with a view over the horse paddock, under the old trees of the small meadow orchard or on one of the numerous places between the goat and pig enclosure probably everyone will find his favorite place.

In Uchte, 4 km away, you will find various shopping facilities, doctors, pharmacies, veterinarian, banks and various restaurants for the small and large hunger.
