A really lovely and cozy spot. There’s plenty of firewood to enjoy a relaxing evening by the fire. It’s also a great starting point for a hike or a bike ride. We’d love to come back!

Everything went perfectly, and we had a wonderful stay. We’ll definitely be back.

A very nice, quiet place to relax. It’s far enough from the edge of the small village that you can enjoy peace and quiet and be close to nature. The property is hard to spot from the outside, so you have all the privacy you need for a vacation. The covered seating area kept us dry during a rainy afternoon. All in all, a place I highly recommend.

Erwin is an incredibly kind host—you really feel right at home here! The place is simply beautiful and unique; I definitely want to stay there again. I was there with a tent, traveling completely minimalist-style. But the place has everything you could want: a fire pit with firewood, a spot for grilling, and an open cabin with a fireplace and seating. You could easily spend several days here. I enjoyed the evening and the night without any media or work. Just soaking in nature and recharging my batteries. It did me a world of good! I highly recommend both the host and the place.

Beautiful spot, very idyllic and hidden. Very detailed information. The pitch at the shelter is level. The seating area at the shelter is very practical in case it rains. I didn't make a fire, but everything was available on site. Will definitely be on my list.

We've been here for the 3rd time now and have been positively impressed every time! The place is really beautiful, it is quiet, many things are provided and you can also go for many walks in nearby forests. The host is very friendly and the communication runs smoothly! We had to cancel our last visit due to illness and were credited the lost days for another visit without asking. We are really looking forward to our next visit!

The site is idyllic and the cottage a real luxury which we really appreciated, especially with the heavy rain during our stay. The firewood and fire bowl provided were also very welcome. Unfortunately we didn't get an answer when we asked about swimming facilities in the area, so for that reason and because the site didn't really offer a flat surface, one point deducted.

A great place and very nice hosts. You definitely have peace and quiet here and the small hut with a canopy and large seating area also provides shelter in bad weather. In hot weather it is also pleasant due to the beautiful large trees.

From booking to arrival and stay, everything was totally smooth, uncomplicated and very pleasant. Erwin provided us with all the important information and there was even a cell phone number in the hut, just in case. The location is super beautiful, secluded and quiet. Absolutely secluded, in the middle of nature surrounded by fields and forest. But shopping was also easily possible on foot. The hut protected us from the rain and the fire bowl + firewood (free!) warmed us up in the evening and gave us delicious stick bread. Fire water was also prepared. As well as a saw with a sawhorse for the firewood. We are super satisfied. And would come back any time.

This really is an amazing place! The atmosphere is magical and Erwin is extremely friendly and always ready to help if you need him. The place offers idyll, comfort and solitude from the hectic everyday life and the forest nearby is very beautiful and you can walk, enjoy the sun, surrounded by greenery and fresh air. We will certainly visit again! :)))

Everything was great and the place is beautiful!

We had a great stay at the site in Buttenwiesen. Unfortunately, the weather was not so kind to us, it was stormy and raining most of the time, but that was no problem at all thanks to the little hut with the oven. Erwin and his son had made us some extra firewood so that we could heat it up well, and so we simply made bread on a stick. Our dog also loved it and really enjoyed the walks across the fields and through Buttenwiesen. All the information was communicated by the hosts in advance by e-mail so that we found the place immediately, which was not always the case. We would love to come back - hopefully in better weather. Super nice pitch. Erwin and his son are brilliant hosts. They take care of every request immediately and are on hand if you have any questions. The location of the pitch is beautifully secluded and yet you are within walking distance of the village where you can do your shopping etc.. There is everything you need for dogs and people... pure peace and relaxation! Should we ever be passing through again, we will gladly come back. Highly recommended. Thanks for the nice contact. Erwin is a very nice host and the contact was great. Very nice quiet place in the middle of nature, from which you can run directly super with the dogs. The highlight is the shelter with the great fireplace, enough firewood is also available. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place with great seating. Privacy guaranteed. You can start directly with the bike on beautiful trails and make great tours. Was certainly not the last time there.

Who is looking for peace and quiet and a pitch with isolation is right here. A pitch made by Erwin very great, the large trees provide shade, the small hut shelter in bad weather and there is also a fireplace. We have also made directly from the place directly a nice MTB tour, great nature in the area. We have felt very comfortable. 5 out of 5, gladly again. LG Judith & Michael

The place is exactly as described: absolute privacy, around it only fields, forest and dirt roads. Communication and handling were totally simple and expedient. In addition, we were provided with a large amount of firewood. Gladly again!

From Erwin came after booking a mail for the checkin which left no question unanswered! The property is beautiful, in the middle of nature. A few meters away is a Kneipp facility and shopping facilities are also within walking distance. So camping is fun. Thanks to Erwin that he provides this gem. We will definitely come back!

We got a quick and very informative response from the host after booking, so we could find the place well and got along very well without further contact. Fire bowl was available, firewood we had ourselves with, but would also have been sufficient (even kindling was available). The place was as described, very nice and relatively straight. Since we were traveling with roof tent and had drive-up wedges with we have also used this. In a pinch, I think it goes but also without. We were here in April, since the bushes were still without foliage and so not really opaque, resident walkers could see so the place. I think early/mid-May has then settled and one has then also absolute privacy. We will certainly come again. So from us a clear recommendation!

Super quiet pitch!

The place is also very nice outside the normal camping season. The host is very friendly and the process of booking and arrival and departure was super uncomplicated. Nice opportunities to take a walk. Maybe important for one or the other: the network coverage was very mixed at the time ;) (advantage / disadvantage)

A really beautiful place and perfect for walking, even with a dog. It is very quiet and only a few walkers come by. Perfect would still be if he was fenced but even without it worked wonderfully. Thanks for the totally uncomplicated process

We were there in mid-September and it was very relaxing and exactly as described. From there you can make super with the dog smaller walks, but also longer bike rides on well-marked paths. We will definitely come wieder👍🏼

An absolute Träum'chen 😍 ... nice that there is such a thing and it is then also shared. Everything as described. Was unfortunately only for one night ... but I will definitely be back!

We were unfortunately only 2 nights there and thus had only one full day at probably the most beautiful place we could imagine. On site was wood, which we could use - for free. the property was so nice and shady and despite intermittent rain we have played laughed and lived :) We had super fun in the beautiful surroundings of Buttenwiesen and will definitely come again

The place is perfect to be in group times in peace outside by the fire. We had three wonderful days thanks to Erwin his offer. The Kneipp facility has made us forget the dreamed lake quite prima :D

Beautiful quiet place

The place is really a small oasis. It does not get any better than this, if you do not need electricity or water. Erwin has responded extremely quickly to our request, and sent a great "all-round" information on how to get here and the place. We will definitely spend a few days here again.

Simply the perfect place to switch off and enjoy nature. You are a little outside the place and almost completely protected from glances now and then passing people. Everything you need is there and the contact with Erwin is super nice and uncomplicated. We will definitely be back!

We liked it very much. Erwin has always answered questions very quickly. We made fire in the fire bowl, which was very nice. The only thing that has disturbed was loud music until 6 o'clock in the morning, for which Erwin can not do anything, and probably it is only on weekends, and besides there are still Ohropax🤪. All in all a nice experience.

Very nice piece on the outskirts of Buttenwiesen. The fireplace at the cottage has kept us warm 😊 Firewood was enough available 👍🏻 Gladly again when it is a little warmer 😊

Nice quiet place. Beautiful area for walks. Very useful is the hut or shelter. Plenty of firewood and saw with sawhorse. A chopping block to split wood would be ideal. Gladly again

The place is really great. There is a fireplace that is covered. Erwin is super nice and answered all the questions you have. Unfortunately it was super cold, so we decided (also to love the dogs) to cancel. When it gets warmer we will go there again in any case. Super nice place, lots of peace and quiet, shopping nearby. A very nice place where you could enjoy privacy to the fullest. Thank you for the firewood. The fireplace and the covered wooden deck invited to sit comfortably. There were even perfect trees for the hammocks. We will be happy to come back again.

Super quiet, beautiful location!

We were there with the tent and our VW bus for one night 🏕 It was a super nice and quiet place. Erwin has shown us everything in the beginning and also helped us with everything. He also provided us with wood and a fire bowl in a small wooden hut, so we could make a campfire in the evening. It was a very nice and relaxing day 🌞

Secluded little grove with some nice specimen trees, situated along a little brook, very quiet amidst some fields near a woodland. We enjoyed the shelter with open fireplace and sitting area for a rainy night. Erwin made the place ready with firewood and gave us some local tips. Good communication.
