This was our second time here. As always, everything went smoothly. The price is, of course, higher than at other places, and you’re required to use the fire pit, for example, but they place a lot of emphasis on maintaining the site. All the rules, however, are actually for the good of the site. It really is a paradise by the water with direct lake access that is lovingly maintained. The bathroom and other facilities were super clean. We’d definitely love to come back.

Three of us were there with our dog in a camper van, alone. After initial difficulties in finding the property (Mannheim address in the ad is not!), everything worked out perfectly. The information by email was not so clear for us, as we were fixated on the location address in the ad. However, we were directed there by phone. The property is top, well maintained, very nice view of the lake and access down. Bathroom/shower without defects and very clean. A covered seating area is an advantage when it rains. Fire bowl and wood was available after ordering. We felt very comfortable, a really nice pitch. Not visible all around. Thanks to the direct garden neighbor for the good briefing, information and check-in. We are happy to recommend it to others. Would go up to 2 WoMo to occupy the space, but then we would find 3 very cramped, but we treated ourselves to this little treasure alone ;) LG Fam.Franke from Dresden

The place itself is beautiful, the lake is great for swimming and paddling. I felt a certain amount of tension because of the precise record of where you can and can't swim in the lake. Every time a family member appeared to be swimming a little close to the shore, I panicked that it might be forbidden. We were definitely missing a shelf under the carport. If you're not there with my motorhome, it can quickly become a bit chaotic. The road is very audible...so both roads front and back. Otherwise it was a nice short vacation. :)
Admittedly - the place is really nice! However, we were there with 2 buses and wondered where the remaining 4 could stand if there were really 12 of us? You are not allowed to stand on the grass and you are not allowed to make a fire! So we clearly set up the barbecue on the only stone pitch (so as not to destroy the grass or anything similar) - but we got a call that the second car should go there (impossible without maneuvering on the grass!!!! ) Conclusion - nice place with max. 2 cars - if you can allow yourself that - a lot of rules, which in total causes us not to come back! New guests are coming after you, and they would certainly be disappointed if the site were no longer so beautiful. The reason for all these rules are guests who are not willing to behave sensibly. Everyone who reads your review should know that.
I would prefer not to give a rating, but only because it was soooo beautiful that I'm afraid everyone will want to go there. This place is amazing. Simply superb. We'll be booking again.

The stay with Markus was a dream, friendly welcome on arrival with a short briefing, all in all, the property with a jetty to the lake, crystal clear water, top sanitary facilities, we have booked again for August and are already looking forward to it.
We had a super nice weekend with the whole family at this wonderful place! The arrival worked out wonderfully. We can really recommend it 👍🏻
We were there for the second time this time with friends and had a great weekend with 3 dogs just mega the place highly recommended we had 3 tents and 1 pavilion and still had enough space. We will be back

A very nice pitch. I was there for 3 days with my two golden retriever girls and it was so idyllic. The trees also provided shade or under the pergola everything was nice and clean and tidy. Nice reception. What is also to mention, great that everything is fenced even to the water. Mega with dog. We book right away again so nice it was thanks for the stay LG JMA
Everything was fine. The communication was smooth, the place was clean, you can relax on and in the lake, very nice and open neighbors (on the neighboring properties). Plenty of shade all day due to the trees & very private due to the fence and trees. Also great for dogs.
A beautiful place. Had a very good time at the lake with well maintained lawn. The covered seating area and the bathroom are good. Only the communication with the landlord was not so easy. It takes a relatively long time to get a response to questions. Otherwise everything was great. Gladly again!
Thank you for a wonderful time. The owner was nice and kind and the shower and toilet were very clean and tidy. There was no need to take trash home. There is an additional fee for cleaning and trash removal, but I think it is a reasonable price. The lawn area was a little small for tent campers. It is difficult for two families (8 people). In addition to the size of the tent, there was not enough room for the peg ropes, so tent campers should be careful. Overall I was satisfied, so I personally would like to come back.
The place was as described and the lake gorgeous for swimming. Next time we take our standup paddle with us! So we were not the last time there. The only drawback: in the confirmation is unfortunately the wrong address
First of all: the communication and the handover was fast and reliable in every case. The facilities and possibilities on site as the photos promised. It is indeed a paradise, though not too quiet idyll in the middle of an industrial area. I think the camping facility for 12 people is too ambitious. We really enjoyed our stay and the amenities there!

Everything was as described, clean and beautifully laid out ! If you may suggest a little something , possibly create an access for dogs. Otherwise it was relaxation and fun with friends. We come again with pleasure.
This place is a beautiful spot. Have felt very comfortable and everything was as described. The communication with the host has worked smoothly. Will definitely come again.
Beautiful place, a wonderful oasis.
We were 4 nights, with 9 people, 3 campers and with 2 small tents on the property on the lake. The site is beautifully landscaped and maintained, the bathroom modern and very clean. The covered seating and the bathing jetty are also top. We come back with pleasure.
Our criticisms: The place is definitely too small for a group constellation like we were (12 people, 1 baby, 1 toddler and dogs). We would recommend the place for a maximum of 2-3 tents or small campers / VW buses, otherwise there is no more space on the lawn to stay there. What bothered us the most was the noise. The site is located directly next to a very busy road, which was very disturbing especially in the evening/night/early morning hours. In addition, there is also a federal highway nearby, which is also very noticeable to our sensibilities. A train track is right next to the place, but this has not disturbed, because here only once a day a train drove. What we particularly liked: The lake is an absolute highlight (private access, very clean, clear and has the perfect temperature). There is a great modern bathroom and hot water supply and electricity. A covered seating area and the possibility to make fire (fire bowl and wood available for extra charge). Overall it is a very well maintained place!

Nice quiet location. Very well maintained property with nice well maintained sanitary area. Washing up facilities somewhat small. Occasional industrial track not disturbing. More electrical outlets would be good. We were there with 4 large motorhomes. For 5 it would probably not have been enough. Otherwise, everything top. Have felt very comfortable. We will definitely come again.

Simply a dream! In a small group I could celebrate my birthday wonderfully in this little paradise with campfire, barbecue and lots of swimming. Everything was like on the photos. Personally, I'm glad that we were there with only 2 campers and a car, otherwise it would have been too crowded for me, if everything is fully parked. But that is a matter of taste. I will definitely come again 👍🏻
We liked it super well. The traffic has in no way disturbed the peace. Everything was clean. The contact was also very friendly
The property is really super and very well maintained 👍 The lake is gorgeous and the water quality is great! We were looking for peace and quiet because we have a very stressful everyday life. The downside was that the nights were very noisy due to air traffic and especially in the morning the train traffic (track is 5 meters next to the property !!!!) and we are really not sensitive. In addition, there is this 24/7 whistling sound at intervals of 1 min at the track or property!!!!! Since we could not otherwise put the tent with bus for technical reasons, we had in the tent and especially at night this sound !!!!!! We therefore find the price of 100 € also very sporty ( we can not imagine 12 people on the property 😉) On the whole, we have made the best of it 😉 For dog owners it is perfectly suitable ❤️❤️❤️
Great weather, calm natural lake, standup paddling, swimming, barbecue all together with dear friends in a really nice place. We felt very comfortable here and will definitely book again.
We had a nice stay at the site. Communication with the provider was flawless What you should know when booking here: - there is a sewage treatment plant nearby, the smell can be a bit "irritating" depending on the wind direction - it is, depending on the wind direction a clear traffic noise of the nearby highway and passing road and the airport perceptible. Unfortunately, this does not really fit to a paradise at the lake. - there is a cleaning fee of 35,-€ for the bathroom In general: a beautiful place, water quality was top, the small bathroom super practical and it is possible to rent a fire bowl Because of the "small" negatively mentioned points the 100,-€/night + 35,-€ bath cleaning is a bit too "sporty". Host's comment (13.07.2022): "Dear guest, a small sewage treatment plant is actually 1 kilometer away as the crow flies, in between are several lakes and the Alt Rhine. That it does not smell like chlorinated pool in an Alt water area is in the nature of things. There is no airport in our place, a highway is 13 KM away. Unfortunately, you have not understood our approach that this place is intended for groups up to 12 people. Then 100 euros rent namely per guest 8.33 euros per night and 2.90 euros per day for the bath including provision hinterland are already quite cheap - for a new luxury bath and an "own lake" at all times. But you are welcome to look at other hosts what you get offered there...".
We had a nice stay. Very idyllic and man / woman is for themselves. Sanitary facilities new and well maintained. One hears the road us but has not disturbed. But someone who is looking for complete silence and tranquility should know this. Pleasant contact. Gladly once again. Host's note (13/07/2022): "Dear Silvie, thank you for your lines. This road is actually 1 KM away as the crow flies, we think you have to be sensitive and quiet-seeking to be bothered by it. A mega great spot of nature, undisturbed and idyllic located with the luxury of a top bathroom! We will definitely book again. Very nice contact!
Really a paradise and worth a trip. Arrival was super smooth, despite delay due to traffic jam. We are very happy to come back.
