It all started when I was 16 years old and somehow got into windsurfing. I knew right away that it wouldn't work without a VW bus. And that's how this passion for camping began. First a tent, later the beloved California for a long time. At some point, the children started going to school and we had to rely on the cold Easter and fall vacations. So the bus was replaced by a caravan. Since 2015, we have been enjoying exploring the world in our motorhome. ....and then there has always been this one very special dream in me.... my own pitch :) If not now, then when? If you never try it, you'll never know if it works. In December 2020, we took over the farm with the beautiful meadow. We look forward to seeing you and sharing this beautiful spot with you. We really enjoyed our stay at the farm. A beautiful meadow with sweeping views, curious chickens, sheep, and miniature pigs. Plus, two lovely bathrooms and very friendly, easygoing hosts. The surrounding area is a dream for hiking and biking. We’ll be back :)
A great little spot with super-friendly hosts! Surrounded by free-range chickens, there are campsites on the large meadow with power poles (long cables are recommended). Andrea is very friendly and goes out of her way to find a solution for any issues!
Lindigshof truly deserves to be called a "getaway"—it feels like an invitation right from the start. If you're looking for peace and quiet, Andrea's place is the perfect spot. Here, you can really feel how the farm is run with love and passion. We also felt very much at home among all the animal residents. Thank you, Andrea, for the warm welcome and the lovely hospitality throughout our stay. The area is perfect for walking, and we also enjoyed a beautiful bike ride through nature. We’d love to come back!

Everything top, nice hostess. When the 8 pitches are full, however, it is quite crowded and has a campsite feel. We prefer it more secluded.
Very nice welcome, even though we arrived quite late. The noise from the street was audible, especially in the morning, but it didn't bother us. The bathrooms are super 👍🏻 In the evening, we enjoyed the peace and quiet under the stars on the bench on the terrace. We also enjoyed the honey and ice cream. There were other campers on the pitch. But the distance was generous. Electricity cost extra, but was ok 👍🏻 PS: The restaurant in Marksuhl on the market square was great and the prices are gigantic (low 🤩).
What a beautiful, idyllic place. Great, super friendly hosts. Only 8 pitches in the meadow/nature with enough distance to the neighbors! 2 pitches with electricity, small shop, nature trails nearby. Just great, we felt sooo comfortable!

What a great place! Beautiful view over the fields! The facilities for campers were very good. Clean sanitary facilities, delicious ice cream on site, good washing-up facilities, chemical toilet disposal, etc. We felt very comfortable with Andrea and she was a very friendly and helpful host. We'd love to come back!
We got to know and love Andrea's pitch on the edge of a field. You can also admire her horses, sheep and pigs there. Simply wonderful. You can see that Andrea manages and runs everything there with love and attention to detail and is also there for her guests. We will definitely keep this place in mind and would love to come back. We spent a few wonderful days at this idyllic campsite! The location is simply fantastic - nestled in a peaceful, green landscape where you can relax and unwind. The sanitary facilities leave nothing to be desired: clean, modern and always in perfect condition - you feel completely at ease. Contact with the operators was very cordial from the outset. You feel welcome and in good hands. We'll be back again - see you next time.
Lovingly managed private pitch, Andrea lives her pitch. The sanitary facilities are great, the pitch is largely flat. The small additional offers such as beekeeper's honey and regionally produced ice cream round off the stay. If we come back to this area, we will definitely come back to Andrea. (A little tip for anyone sleeping in a tent: try not to choose a pitch directly on the road).
The name really says it all here - we couldn't have wished for a better place for a relaxing break! The farm and the pitches are run with incredible warmth, which you can feel in every corner. It is a paradise, especially for travelers with dogs: There are numerous opportunities for long walks in beautiful natural surroundings right from the pitch. The warm atmosphere and tranquillity make the stay something very special. We will definitely be back - and are already looking forward to it!
A really idyllic pitch on a meadow between trees right next to Andrea's house. There is a nice terrace and ice cream. Two nice clean bathrooms with shower are also available. Very warm and lots of attention to detail! We had a relaxing break on the way to Denmark!

Andrea is a very sweet person who welcomed us with open arms and runs her farm with attention to detail. The view of the Thuringian Forest is fantastic, the animals grazed happily in the meadow, the night was starry and quiet and the sanitary facilities are very new and very clean. An absolute dream place for us!

A wonderful stopover with a wonderful hostess! Andrea has a lovingly furnished farm in the middle of nature - with a wide view and sheep right outside the door, which we thought was really cool. The sanitary facilities are spacious, super clean and there is even a washing machine. We particularly liked Andrea's sense of environmental friendliness and the small details. You could hardly be more idyllic with a motorhome. We felt very welcome and comfortable. Andrea is an excellent hostess, always ready to listen despite all her work and always has time for a chat - very friendly! The family-run site offers campers all the services they need and a very cozy atmosphere to boot. It has to be said: Andrea has some culinary delights on offer. We would like to emphasize the delicious ice cream🍦 We'll be back, definitely Fall✌🏻....and are already looking forward to it😀. The place is designed with a lot of love. Everything is modern, clean and well thought out. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend the place!
Friendly hostess, great place! Two clean bathrooms with spacious showers and a possibility to wash your own dishes in the main building are good for those who travel self-sufficient and need a shower. The place itself is open and you have to live with the fact that you are visible from the place neighbor possibly. All around shady hedge and trees. Suitable for dogs, but the site has animals, ie always keep on a leash. The ice cream from the region is very tasty and popular, bikers like to stop for an ice cream there. No campsite feeling arisen, very relaxed!
On the run from a round birthday we discovered this beautiful place. The whole weekend we had the whole meadow (almost) to ourselves. Andrea welcomed us super nice and we felt very comfortable during our stay with sheep, pigs and running ducks. We hiked a lot, biked and visited some sights of the region. My dog Kaja and I felt super comfortable here. Andrea is a very nice hostess with a great farm and many animals. It was crowded on the weekend, but you have not noticed it at all, because everything has distributed nicely. The washrooms are clean, large and modern. I will definitely stop by here again.

We were here only for transit one night. Everything was clean and well maintained. Our highlight was to be able to get a (vegan) ice cream from the chest even late in the evening. With pleasure we come also times longer past.

The stay with Andrea was mega relaxed. The entire facility was very well maintained, barbecues and campfires were no problem at all. The stay has exceeded all our expectations. In addition to the very clean and well-kept localities, special mention should be made of the very nice and helpful hostess Andrea. The ice cream at the campsite is the hammer. Super was also the daily bread service. Especially for bike tours through the Thuringian Forest, the place is well suited. By chance we stumbled across "Hinterland" a few weeks ago and rummaged directly on it. The rough direction for a prolonged Ascension weekend was clear, only we found nothing really suitable for our team. Then the time-out of Andrea caught our eye. Shortly we asked if we could travel with our team and roof tent, promptly we got the confirmation. After a few weeks of waiting, we contacted them again the evening before our arrival to inform them of our approximate arrival time. On site, we were received directly friendly and led to our place. And then it was "time out"! Andrea, we enjoyed it and we will definitely be back. Thank you so much for the oasis you have created here. Best regards from the Hannover region
This is exactly how we had imagined our time away. Three nights we were at the great, quiet place. Andrea is a very attentive and friendly hostess. We had a magnificent view of nature, already in the morning visit from adorable little lambs and have gladly taken advantage of the bread service of Andrea. The bathrooms on the site are top, there is a delicious ice cream sale and nearby some beautiful destinations. We will be happy to come back.

Who wants to dangle the soul is exactly right here! The place admittedly does not offer much, but is idyllic and is scenically very beautiful. Nevertheless, you have the proximity to Eisenach, Wartburg and dragon gorge and much more. This is exactly what we were looking for. Super nice hostess, two good sanitary rooms, bread service, delicious ice cream (self-service) and funny sheep, pigs and ducks as neighbors round out the whole. Firmly assigned pitch, i.e. drive away with the camper and back to the reserved place, went great! Barbecue no problem. Delicious honey at the beekeeper in the village. Super friendly interaction on the site and Andrea's unobtrusive presence have pleased us well. We have felt very welcome!
An incredibly beautiful place with all the amenities you want as a camper so. The sunset at the pitch, clean laundry room, ice cream (for me especially important 😊) and cute animals in front of the nose. And in addition Andrea is still a very interesting personality, which has built this time out great. Thank you for the beautiful days!!! P. S. The bike paths including signage towards Eisenach are a disaster, do not believe any app and also not your legs, take an ebike with you. 😊

The place is spacious, completely lawn and level. Two bathrooms with shower are clean and modern. Andrea takes perfect care of us guests. We have deducted one star because the street is unfortunately quite noisy early in the morning. Andrea of course can not help it, vllt. it is only because of the construction site in Marksuhl.

Andrea is a hostess with all her heart ❤️ We were here for 1 week and we loved it. Everything as in the description. The pitches are spacious and you do not stand too close. The view and the beautiful sunsets are simply priceless. Sheep and mini pigs round off the come to rest. Two very attractive bathrooms with showers, sinks and of course WC. From here you can cycle very well and also explore by vehicle the nearer and further beautiful area. Unfortunately, you can not swim in the reservoir, but in 30 minutes you are with the vehicle at several beautiful lakes and outdoor pools. Clear recommendation, thumbs up! Elke and Harry
Unfortunately we could not visit Andrea, because our camper had an engine failure. Since the communication was great, I think the rest there is also great!

The price-performance ratio we found very good, there is everything you need as a camper infrastructure. The two bathrooms are modernly equipped. We were two with two dogs 7 days with Andrea. We really had a "time out". We stood with our camper under the cherry tree (which we were allowed to harvest ;-) )View only on field and meadows. WC, shower etc. everything there... Delicious was also the ice cream... even a vegan was there..... Gladly again......

Thank you for the warm welcome. Even if the weather was not too done to us that weekend, we enjoyed the stay with our friends, especially the kindness of Andrea and her husband have contributed to this.
Andrea offers a very appealing site where you feel comfortable and you have everything you need...plus some delicious cherries, which were available on so some trees also numerous to the birdlife. Restaurants in the immediate vicinity are few and far between. Bike paths are not really well signposted and partly badly passable (eg to the Wartburg), but you can ask or detours. The nearby dam is probably not directly declared as a bathing oasis, but swimming and cooling down is very possible and idyllic, as there were hardly any bathers. Overall a great stay, gladly again!

A beautiful, idyllic spot, with a wonderful, sympathetic hostess, who is open to all questions and is always helpful. Electricity, water, gray water and toilet disposal, laundry room, two showers and WC's are available. For breakfast there were always delicious fresh rolls, by the bread service of Andrea. Another highlight is the ice chest with delicious ice cream from Cinnamon & Sugar. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come again 🥰. Warmest regards, Thorsten & Mary
We were four days on Andrea's beautiful little farm. The area is just magical and you can relax super. We also found Andrea's little pigs and the sheep super. Andrea and her husband are super nice people, always helpful and open for all questions. It has been an absolute feel-good place for us. Absolutely recommendable and we will definitely come back.

We had a wonderfully relaxing weekend at Andreas Hof. The Lindigshof offers every comfort of a regular campsite incl. CEE columns, shower, even bread service in a small cozy round. We come back with pleasure :)

We spent three nights at the beautiful place of Andrea. Right at the beginning we were received very friendly. We used Hinterland.camp for the first time and were totally surprised what a great place we came to. Andrea and Matthias are very gracious and very friendly hosts. We felt very comfortable. The equipment and the location of the campsite are really great. We will definitely come again.
A wonderfully idyllic place with beautiful sanitary facilities and warm hostess. We have enjoyed the days here very much.
In advance - you should definitely enter Lindighof in the navi not Gerstungen/Lindig. Andrea is a very nice open hostess, you feel right at home. The pitches are generously laid out. There are two new bathrooms. They are great and even equipped with towel warmers. Since recently there is also delicious organic ice cream! There are also 5 sheep and two black pot-bellied pigs living there. It is a great, very quiet place. Well suited for hikers. If it is too quiet, the Wartburg, Gotha and Weimar are also within easy reach by car for culture lovers.
Everything was great again. Thanks for the stay. We will be back again. See you again.
We were only for a short night on this pitch, but we liked it very very much. With a lot of love this place is equipped. Beautiful new bathroom, possibility to clean dishes, professional toilet disposal, garbage disposal, electricity. The highlight were the two cute little pigs and the small flock of sheep. Many thanks also again for the rolls, Andrea. We can definitely recommend this place. And will certainly come back if it takes us to the area again.

A great pitch with great facilities. The bathroom is brand new, wonderful. The wide view over the fields decelerates. The sheep and 2 pigs complete the picture. We felt very comfortable. In addition, Andrea is a super nice hostess. The communication in advance and on site was very relaxed. We can recommend the Lindigshof without reservation. You are in good hands there. We had the bikes with us and explored the surroundings. One day we biked to Eisenach (via side roads and forest past the Wartburg), had a delicious meal at the "Cinnamon and Sugar" on the market square and took the train back to Marksuhl. From there across the fields to Lindigshof. The area is worth seeing.
Who is looking for peace and relaxation is exactly right here. We had a very nice time out in Lindigshof. The operator Andrea is very friendly and always available for questions or a conversation. Watching the small flock of sheep and the mini pigs was an enrichment every day. The facilities of the place are exactly as described. We felt very comfortable and lacked nothing. We can recommend this place without reservation and would come here again any time 👍

3 wonderfully quiet days away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life with a wide view of hilly forests and fields. A small flock of sheep and 2 very precious little pigs live there and enrich the experience. One notices the professional approach behind the project very clearly sanitary facilities, washing up facilities, power points, waste disposal,... everything there. Andrea is a very pleasant and accommodating hostess and knows from her own experience very well what campers want and need. In any case, one of our highlights and definitely again. We liked it here very much, a mini camping, with very cute mini pigs and a mini flock of sheep. Fits everything super together. Buns and fresh vegetables you also get and the hostess has received us very nice. Our dog could bathe, what more could you want....

for our "first time" camping we could not have found a better place. Here you stand idyllic on a beautiful meadow with fruit trees, sheep and very cute pot-bellied pigs. One has the possibility to shower in the house and to use the toilet. Electricity is available, the whole presentation of the site is very neat, welcoming and warm. Everything has already been said about Andrea in the other reviews: a very nice hostess.

We were very warmly welcomed and felt very comfortable with Andrea. The pitch is very nice with great views over the fields to the forest. The sanitary facilities are pleasantly clean, for washing up there is a separate area in the house. Overall, everything was pleasantly unexcited, the baked goods from the bread service was delicious and in case of problems (eg a too short cable drum) was friendly and uncomplicated help. Our son especially enjoyed the sheep and was eager to help put up a new piece of fencing for them. We keep the Lindigshof in really good memory and come back with pleasure.

Super nice hostess. We had a quiet, shady pitch with unobstructed view on a great meadow. We and our dog felt very comfortable. Everything was thought of. There was even a bread service and a book corner. Conclusion: Unreservedly recommendable.

The place is just insane, on a large meadow behind the farm you will find plenty of space and peace for a few beautiful days! Bread service, changing regional products such as honey, mead, fruit / vegetables and herbs are offered. Absolutely idyllic place, lovingly designed, even if one is still under construction. Andrea is a warm hostess who makes you feel extremely comfortable. The surroundings are simply gorgeous. We are very happy to come back.
Arrive and feel good - time out, that is the motto of Andrea and so we were also very warmly welcomed. Generously laid out pitches on a large lawn, whether shade or sun with a view of the forest, or under a cherry tree, a very lovingly designed place, every morning delicious rolls, honey, fresh eggs whenever you wanted, left nothing to be desired. Although not everything was structurally perfect, it did not bother at all and we wish Andrea still much momentum in the completion and implementation of their dreams. Already the "reception" promised, here taste and cordiality is natural. From the fire bowl in the garden, to the specially purchased tractor, if the camper times on the idyllic orchard thanks to rain gets traction difficulties, everything was thought of. Cable to the power too short, no problem, Andrea has everything ready. We literally said the fox "good night" and for breakfast has given us a deer not 100 meters away company (no, not in the enclosure - but on free nature on the fields lying at your feet around). WC, shower all available and in good condition. Bicycle and hiking trails start directly. Full points, absolute recommendation. Merci!

My personal time out with Andrea in Lindigshof was a dream. The idyllic location in southern Thuringia with many possibilities for activities, lets from the first minute on vacation mood arise. Andrea is not only a mega sympathetic hostess, but also cares lovingly for all her guests and has a solution for every problem. Too bad that you can only give 5 stars. A very nice host couple awaited us. The pitch could be freely chosen. Who wants to have it quiet should choose the areas facing away from the street. On request there were fresh rolls in the morning. The surrounding area invites you to hike and in summer also to swim at your own risk at the nearby lake - no 10 min walk to reach as well as plenty of sights in the immediate vicinity. Electricity, washing - & shower possibility was also available as described in the ad. Even for the dishes 2 large basins. We liked it very much and would, if it arises, gladly come back. It was our 1st tour with our WoMo 》gelungen. Thank you very much 👍🙋♂️
Dear Andrea, two days on your beautiful meadow have pleased us very much. On a great meadow between fruit trees was enough space for all campers with a far view over the rape fields. Andrea has welcomed us very warmly on their lovingly landscaped grounds. The scullery and bathroom were always perfectly clean and the grounds very well maintained. She had super excursion suggestions and for every problem a quick solution. The area is very beautiful to go hiking. We will definitely come back soon.
