Klaus und SylkeYour pitches are located on our farm at Grimmenstein in Limlingerode in the south of the Harz Mountains.
The village with its only 240 inhabitants is situated in a very quiet location in the former border area of the GDR and now on the beautiful GREEN BELT in the middle of Germany between Leipzig and Göttingen.
Our village has a lot to offer. There is a restaurant and the famous Ländliche Kaffeestuben. In the neighboring village you can shop for your daily needs in "Joes Konsum".
You can stand self-sufficiently on one of our meadows or directly on the farm.
Start the day with fresh baguettes made from Italian sourdough, baked with ancient grains such as red grain wheat or delicious wholemeal sourdough bread with forest rye from our own oven.
Our family has had bees for over 60 years, which diligently collect the honey for us.
Try our freshly pressed apple juice made from old varieties of our tall apple trees.
Visit our cattle, the Hinterwälder, known as a particularly small breed. Thanks to their slow growth and fresh herbal hay, they produce fine marbled meat.
Our farm is in the process of conversion. We farm according to the guidelines of organic farming. We still mow with a scythe, and anyone who wants to can learn how to do this.
Enjoy your vacation for excursions into the surrounding area by bike or on foot. You can use the adventure and outdoor pools in the area or visit the monastery in Walkenried.
Or you can simply take a vacation in our beautiful nature.
Free cancellation up to 10 days before arrival. Or within 48 hours of booking, up to one day before arrival.
