The hikers' parking lot (which is actually a small wood storage area) at the so-called Ochsenloch is a well-known and popular resting place for campers.

The immediate vicinity to the former inner-German border and today's Green Belt invite to wonderful hiking tours. In addition, the parking lot borders on nature reserves, which makes the observation of partly rare wild animals very likely.

The Ochsenloch is a small forest pond where a pair of ducks breeds every year in spring.
