Pleasant older cottage at Bortelid. About 2 km to groomed cross-country trails, alpine center and shop. The cabin has a total of 3 bedrooms with 6 beds. 1 bedroom with 150 wide and 200 cm. long bed, 2 bedrooms with bunk bed 75x 200 cm. Large terrace behind the cottage with a partial view of a waterfall.

The cabin has all necessary kitchen equipment, TV with satellite dish, wood stove in the living room.

The cabin has electricity but no running water. Water must be brought with you or collected free of charge at a water post in the area, simple. There are large gallons in the cabin. Easy to keep the water warm with a large saucepan that is above the wood stove.

Use of the barrel sauna is included in the rent. The sauna has a hot water tank so it is possible to heat water and wash yourself in the sauna the good old fashioned way. Pour water over you. Nice experience to try in the barrel sauna, good for a stiff back and body, relaxing experience and especially good after a long day in the snow and fresh mountain air. Sleep well afterwards. You can also shower at Bortelid food store, they have shower rooms to rent.

The toilet is a good old fashioned biological compost toilet without water. It is built in so no need to go out.

In the summer, it is also possible to barrow little a 12-foot rowing boat, which is located at Lognavatn, about 10 kilometers from the cabin. You can also fish and swimming there.

Bring whit your own life jackets.

A calm dog is allowed in this cabin but not in the bedroom.

-Parking for 1 car directly in front of the cabin, in addition there are 2 more parking spaces in the shared car park approx. 1 km. away.

☆There is an extra floor mattress and a sofa in the living room that can be used if more sleeping places are needed. Otherwise, there are beds for 6. There are 6 pillows and 6 duvets in the cabin.

☆The price includes electricity and 1 sack of wood for the wood stove and for the sauna, it is possible to buy more from the shop.

☆It is not permitted to charge electric cars from the cabin. use the charging station in Bortelid centre.

☆The cabin is only rented to families and 1-2 adult couples who are used to such forest cabins.
