Small, rustic wooden tent-cabin in the wilderness, featuring a double bed. The cabin is located in a small, nature-focused campsite set in a scenic environment with beautiful mountain views. A hot tub and a barrel sauna are available for rent at the campsite. There are opportunities for climbing nearby, and you can borrow a rowboat—free of charge—on the nearest lake, located about 7 km from the site (where fishing permits can also be purchased). An outdoor kitchen with cooking facilities is provided, and there is a composting toilet nearby. Please note that the cabin/wooden tent is very basic and unheated. A small, quiet dog is permitted.

A simple, rustic "tent-cabin" (a wooden structure resembling a tent) featuring a double bed and a terrace. The cabin is located in a small, quiet nature campsite, set in a scenic environment with beautiful mountain views.

The cabin/tent is basic—uninsulated, with no heating or electricity—and is intended for summer use only. Candles are provided for lighting. It includes a 140 cm double bed with two duvets and pillows, a table, and an armchair. A small, well-behaved dog is permitted. The tent-cabin is situated at the edge of the campsite, offering a lovely view. To reach the campsite, you must cross the river via a small footbridge.

The campsite does not have showers; however, you can rent a hot tub and sauna for an additional fee—a delightful spa experience. Washing facilities are available inside the sauna.

It offers a true spa atmosphere—combine it with a quick dip in the river right next door... simply wonderful!

☆ For stays of 5 days or longer, one complimentary 2-hour sauna session is included in the price. ☆

The sauna is wood-fired.

It can be booked on the same day; it takes about 40 minutes to heat up and is available year-round. You can also heat water in the sauna to wash yourself.

Why not take a dip in the river in between sessions?

You can charge your phone at the camp—please bring your own USB cable.

Håvestøl Nature Camp is a small, simple campsite without electricity or running water. It is beautifully located by a small stream, offering views of Sletafjell and a scenic setting, while remaining conveniently close to the road. We live in harmony with nature; we keep things simple—this is not a 5-star hotel. The site is perfect for nature lovers looking to take a little time out from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

We also offer small cabins, tent pitches, and suspended tents (tree tents). Most units are spaced as far apart as possible to ensure maximum privacy for everyone.
