AlbinWelcome to Franconia in the wine region "WeinPanoramaSteigerwald" on the pitch of the wine manufactory Solf.
We offer a total of 2 pitches on a meadow by the stream with shade and sunny spots, these are located on the outskirts of the village, are easy to approach, quiet and safe, directly about 30m opposite our wine manufactory.
You can refill your water supply free of charge on our farm, as well as dispose of your dirty water and, if necessary, charge batteries with electricity.
WC use at the yard, only for tent or van with prior arrangement possible.
We offer you the possibility to taste and buy our wines directly on site.
In the evening I am available to you as a winemaker to talk wine with a free glass of wine !!!
The site is surrounded by lots of greenery, trees that provide shade, a paddock and a small stream.
Ideal for children, Bolzplatz in 100 m on the former sports field, simple playground on the creek in 150 m and in 400 m distance a modern, large playground.
Hiking trails
( the Weinsteiger and the Burgherrenblick-Rundweg ) pass directly by the campsite.
The Weinsteiger leads via Falkenstein to our vineyard "Donnersdorfer Falkenberg", walking time about 25 min.
Arrived there ( hikers' parking lot ) the circular route " Falkenberger Hüttentour" with 3.5 km, leads you through this small, romantic vineyard location of Franconia in the wine panorama Steigerwald, directly at the foot of the Zabelstein (489 m above sea level), this stands for its unique many vineyard cottages and counts with this landscape ensemble to the most attractive landscape images of Franconia.
Tip 1: for this tour with magnificent views into the Main valley and up to the Rhön you should plan at least 2 hours !!!!
Tip 2: especially recommended for hikers to go high on the Zabelstein and enjoy the fantastic view from the new observation tower there.
Start directly from the campsite away always the "Weinsteiger" after, via Falkenstein through the vineyard Donnersdorfer Falkenberg up to the Zabelstein in about 1 3/4 hours (with 489 m highest elevation in the northern Steigerwald) there on the 19.6 m high new lookout tower, back via Falkenstein (directly), total tour about 3 hours.
Bike path network in all directions available.
Donnersdorf is centrally located on the A70, between Hassfurt and Gerolzhofen on the Steigerwald.
The world cultural city of Bamberg can be reached in approx. 30 min. Königsberg with historical old town in 20 min.
Have a good trip to the wine and Franconia country!
Free cancellation up to 1 day (12:00 p.m.) before arrival.
