Surrounded by the nature of the Steigerwald, the gentle hills of the Haßberge, the wide plains of the Rhön and the beautiful banks of the Mainschleife, we offer a retreat for nature lovers.
Enjoy the peace and quiet in the meadow under the fruit trees (picking allowed) and relax while watching the contented chickens. (for a small donation you can even get breakfast eggs from happy chickens)
Where comfort and closeness to nature go hand in hand.
The site offers enough space for tents, roof tents and small campers. There is also a natural shower (hot/cold), a separate dry toilet, an outdoor kitchen with electricity, a campfire site and for all those who want to stay online in the countryside, we offer WLAN on request.

The warmth and hospitality of the Hofmann family are truly touching. We had a wonderful experience. They share their home with such passion. We really loved the Nordic atmosphere—it really spoke to us. The amenities are also fantastic. Everything is beautiful and kept in tip-top condition. We felt very, very comfortable. An absolutely perfect spot for anyone who just wants to unwind :) Everything has been designed and furnished with great attention to detail; nothing was missing, and the host family is just super nice, friendly, and very helpful and attentive. You can chill out in the hammock, watch the chickens from the “couch,” or sit comfortably in the outdoor kitchen—there’s always a shady spot to relax. During the two days I was able to spend there, I felt completely at home, and I’ll definitely be back whenever I get the chance. Highly recommended, and 5 stars.... at least :)

Dear Hofmann Family, We had a wonderful weekend with you! Thank you so much for the warm welcome and the quick and pleasant communication both before our arrival and while we were there. You have a great campsite with everything we needed. The kids can run around and collect eggs from the chickens in the morning. Just a 10-minute drive away, we spent a day swimming at a very beautiful quarry pond. We’ll definitely be back—our youngest guest (age 5) has already asked about it ;-) Best regards, stay just the way you are, Matthias
We felt very comfortable and didn’t lack for anything. The natural alarm clock made sure we got up on time and didn’t sleep through the whole afternoon. A truly majestic rooster 😂. We brought everything with us, but if any cutlery or dishes are missing, everything is available in the kitchen. The family is very friendly, and we were warmly welcomed. During cherry season, we were allowed to pick a few. Thank you very much for the stay.
We had a really wonderful stay with you! The garden is so lovingly designed. I highly recommend it!
