We felt very comfortable and didn’t lack for anything. The natural alarm clock made sure we got up on time and didn’t sleep through the whole afternoon. A truly majestic rooster 😂. We brought everything with us, but if any cutlery or dishes are missing, everything is available in the kitchen. The family is very friendly, and we were warmly welcomed. During cherry season, we were allowed to pick a few. Thank you very much for the stay.
We had a really wonderful stay with you! The garden is so lovingly designed. I highly recommend it!
This campsite deserves more than 5 stars. It’s a private site with endless space. Everything is extremely well-maintained and very clean. You can tell it was all done with a lot of care. We really loved the Scandinavian style. The restroom, outdoor kitchen, dishwashing area, seating area, and outdoor shower are all covered and furnished with great attention to detail. Plus, there’s a sofa, a hammock, and a bench for extra seating. The chickens were lovely to watch, and the eggs were delicious. The hosts were extremely friendly at all times, and we also got great tips for exploring the area. If you love nature, this is the perfect spot for you. We’ll definitely be back. So, full marks.

We had a wonderful time in Dana's garden! The place is so lovingly decorated, and the summer kitchen has everything you could possibly need. We were able to build a fire and had a really lovely evening there. In the morning, we had fresh eggs from the chickens that live there. Thank you so much for everything—we'd love to come back!
Made with so much love! We were so impressed with the "Lebensart" pitch. So beautifully done and the apples were super tasty. We were also able to have breakfast on the covered terrace when it rained. Thank you so much, it was really great and super relaxing.

A really beautiful place that Dana and her family run with a lot of passion and a keen sense for the essentials. Everything is uncomplicated, lovingly done and just right to simply relax. The chickens impressed us just as much as the honest, open conversation on site - and Dieter on the phone was super friendly and helpful. You can just feel that someone here enjoys being a host. The Hofmann family do a really, really great job - thank you for the lovely stay!
A really wonderful short vacation in Grettstadt is coming to an end. Everything we could have wished for was there, loving, generous hosts who always had an open ear for our wishes and needs. The pitch was warm and friendly in Swedish style. Totally cozy and cute. The hot shower was fantastic and the toilet block was absolutely sustainable and well described 👍 Our children loved feeding the chickens and taking the eggs out of the nests every day. In the evening and in the morning we could enjoy our breakfast and dinner in the beautiful sitting area and enjoy the peace and quiet. It was a wonderful trip. We would love to come back ❤️
In short: it felt like a short trip to Sweden, even if it was only for one night. 😍 We wanted for nothing! The baked bread with honey from our own bees was delicious! & the long-awaited fire was great. Thank you so much for your hospitality! ♥️ More from us in the guestbook. Super nice contact before and after the booking. Unfortunately I had to cancel my stay for health reasons. Thanks again for your understanding and the possibility of canceling at short notice. Postponed is not canceled. The place just looks too great in the photos and I will definitely make up for my stay in Grettstadt. I'm already looking forward to meeting you in person :-)
It was a wonderful time there, perfect for switching off! Fantastic atmosphere and with the chickens it rounds off the experience in nature. There is plenty to do - plenty of tips from the friendly hosts. We would love to come back! Everything you need to be happy :)

Dear Dana and family, We felt incredibly at home in your little oasis with its Swedish atmosphere, chicken coop and family connection. Thank you for the uncomplicated welcome, the lovely treatment of our kids, the great food and the relaxed atmosphere. Your garden and the covered outdoor area are beautiful, lovingly designed down to the last detail and still wonderfully natural.
