If you’re not looking for a traditional campground but rather a simple, special spot surrounded by nature, this is the place for you. You can pitch your own tent right on the private pond property and spend a quiet weekend or a few days there with friends.

The property is surrounded on all sides by trees and dense vegetation and is completely secluded from view. Around the small natural pond, there are mowed areas for several tents, shaded spots, and various rustic seating options.

At the fire pit right by the pond, you can grill, cook, sit together, and wind down the evening by the fire—of course, only if weather and local conditions allow for a fire.

There’s also an old, custom-designed construction trailer on the property that gives the site its special character. It’s being gradually renovated and isn’t currently available for sleeping.

Hiking & Surroundings:

Around the campsite and in the Franconian Forest, there are plenty of opportunities for walking, hiking, and exploring the area. This makes it easy to combine your stay with a hike—and afterward, you can head back to your own pond and fire pit.

Good to know:

The site is intentionally simple, natural, and rustic. It is not a traditional campground with restroom facilities or full amenities.

There are no showers and no standard electrical hookups.

The well water is not certified as drinking water. Please bring your own drinking water.

You cannot drive directly to the campsite. Parking is available nearby, and from there it’s only about 100 meters on foot to the property. You’ll therefore need to carry your luggage a short distance.

The pond is a natural pond and not a designated swimming pond.

Cell phone reception is generally available but may vary depending on your carrier and device.

Ideal for couples, friends, and small groups seeking peace, nature, and privacy who prefer to have their own space rather than be surrounded by many other campers.

Larger groups are possible by arrangement. A adjusted rate applies for groups of 7 or more people.
