Above our farm, surrounded by trees, we offer a campsite on the edge of the forest. From here, you can enjoy a stunning view of Gutach in the Black Forest and the sunset behind the Black Forest mountains. You’ll stay here in a quiet, secluded spot, about 300 meters from our farm. Access is via a forest path and is suitable for campers (e.g., campervans, cars with roof tents, or on foot with a tent).
At our farm, you have the opportunity to purchase farm-fresh products. We offer fresh eggs daily, apple juice from our own orchard, and fresh bread from the wood-fired oven once a week.
There is no turning area at the campsite. When arriving or departing, you will need to back up approximately 100 meters.

This was our second time here! A beautiful and peaceful spot surrounded by nature. Perfect for hiking and unwinding. The site is very well-maintained and covered with fresh wood chips. There’s even electricity. There’s a natural swimming spot by the stream nearby. Wonderful! We’ll definitely be back.

We had a pleasant stay. Christian gave us a very warm welcome and showed us around right away. The campsite itself has been set up with great attention to detail—the logs provide great places to sit and cook, and the wood chips are a godsend when it rains, helping to keep the ground clean. A great touch was the power cord right at the site for charging power banks and cell phones, as well as the option to refill our drinking water containers at the farm. However, there are two things to keep in mind for your stay. If, like us, you’re traveling with a tent and your own camping toilet, you should provide some extra privacy yourself. The path leading to the campsite is also used by hikers and horseback riders. In addition, a new road is currently being built in the village. During the week, this made it very noisy during the day, which is why we couldn’t really enjoy our time at the campsite and preferred to be out and about instead. We fully understand that the host isn’t responsible for the construction site—but we would have appreciated a brief heads-up beforehand. Especially when booking through Hinterland, people are usually specifically looking to escape the noise of the city. Overall, a truly lovely place with wonderful hosts. Once the construction is finished, you’ll be able to enjoy a peaceful getaway on a farm here.
